Course Curriculum Overview

Some course credits we already have been assigned to complete. The faculty-student ratio is 1:1 approximately. Exam criteria were simple at the time of online sessions compared to offline sessions. All faculties are not that good at teaching the courses.

Class Size: 40Course Fees: INR 9650 per year

Placement Experience

Ph.D. students didn't have that many job placement opportunities on campus. Usually, students have to apply for a postdoc for further studies. Otherwise, they apply here or there for other job options. Or students generally go for Assistant professor applications in different colleges.

Fees and Financial Aid

I am getting an institute fellowship for my program. Semester wise fee structure is 9650 with an additional fee for the hostel and mess if u have to avail of those. Job opportunities are not that much after PhD.

Campus Life

Rendezvous fest is there conducted every year. Hostel life is also nice here. A lot of exposure for students here. Although feel like campus life is not that fine for Ph.D. students. Sports activities are nice here.

Admission

I got eligible for admission on the basis of CGPA criteria for students who have done an MSc from IITs with a CGPA above 8.0. After that, an interview is taken for confirmation of the Ph.D. admission.

Life at IITD

Course Curriculum Overview:

The courses were informative. The usual faculty: student ratio varies from subject to subject and ranged from 1:10 to 1:50. The professors were well versed with there subjects. The exams were based on the discussions held in classes. The exams were held in time and were easy to pass. If you attended the classes.

See through the eyes of a Researcher!

Placement Experience:

For B.Tech and M.Tech there are plenty amount of options they have. They can choose packages from 12 LPA to crores even. As I'm doing Ph.D. from IIT what I can say is Post - a doctoral research career is good to go if we are opting to be lecturers. Otherwise, industries are also preferred by Chemists who synthesize compounds.

The best college for my PhD

Admission:

The candidate has to have a minimum requirement of a masters degree in planning education or any other similar field of study. After applying for the college, I attended an entrance exam conducted by the college which was followed by a personal interview by the college officials.

Admission:

For any PhD, it is mandatory that you have a masters degree in the related field, I have completed my M.Phil in educational planning. I applied in this college for PhD and then got a call for attending the entrance test, I cleared it and after an interview with some faculties, I got the admission.

Good curriculum and overall technical exposure is excellent

Admission:

I decided to pursue a PhD in Physics. IIT-Delhi is rich in imparting knowledge and offers a wide infrastructural advantage. At IIT-Delhi clearing NET examination is mandatory after which interviews are conducted twice in a year (in May for July session and in Nov-Dec for January session). After the interview the shortlisted candidates are allowed to interact with their choice of supervisors and with the mutual consent of student and supervisor, one can join the Ph. D. course

College management is managed at three tier system, one we have local staffs and wardens , two we have unions and three we have directors in administration . Being a governmental organisation it is properly managed.

M.Tech CSE IIT DELHI Review

I chose IIT Delhi because it has the best faculties and a strong alumni network. Besides this the research aspects here are better than other colleges. I had applied to IIT bombay, IIT Jodhpur, IIT madras and IIT kanpur but I got offer for IIT Delhi before all the other colleges.
