The best college for my PhD

Doing a PhD usually means a lot of work and projects relating to research, it is no different in this college as well. We have many practical works like paper presenting, seminars, group discussing as a part of our syllabus, we are also financially supported for these activities.

The college helps us by financially supporting our research and projects but there are no official campus placements for students in PhD or M.Phil. We can complete our project research and go as staffs in colleges or for an off-campus job hunt. The stipend provided is sufficient for the student to survive during his/her study time.

The fee is feasible for most of them studying here, The fee for the first year of PhD is Rs. 12,300 and for the second year, it is Rs. 5,500 and for the final year, it is Rs. 9,000. Which makes it cost up to Rs 26,00 for the whole course of three years. Provided we are also economically funded by the college for projects and research.

This college celebrates many events, both national and international holidays. There are both sports and cultural fests, we have a great time during that time of the year. Apart from this, we celebrate festivals too. Academically there are various seminars that happen regularly, which is very useful for us during our project work.

The college has a 7 storey building for a hostel, with well-furnished rooms and all essential facilities like Wi-Fi, electricity and water facilities. We have spacious rooms and outdoor for relaxing. The food provided is also good and nutritious, it feels like home to stay in here.

The candidate has to have a minimum requirement of a masters degree in planning education or any other similar field of study. After applying for the college, I attended an entrance exam conducted by the college which was followed by a personal interview by the college officials.

The faculties have an excellent experience of 15-20 years in the field of education, about 10 of them handle us. We learn a lot from them for our research and paper publishing. We have about ten faculty members, everybody is very knowledgeable and interactive with the students.
