Course Curriculum Overview

The course curriculum basically had all sorts of reasearch programmes. They were very strict with our syllabus and in results we just had a list of very much important reasearch programmes as well as training programs in our syllabus

Placement Experience

No there was no facility of recruitments as well as internships in this university. But there were some finances training opportunities for the students like us. Many of my batchmates was already having some kind of jobs so this factor never affected us

Fee Structure And Facilities

This university fees was very much feasible in nature. As for the first year they charged me something 12,000 which is just few hundred less from the current first year fee. The total expenditure of whole course was ranging 25000 only.

Campus Life

Our university organised billions of events for us. As we were very much busy with our syllabus it was us who took little less participation in the sports events or other co curricular activities. We celebrated large no of festivals together.

Alumni/Alumna

Our seniors were too much helpful and friendly. If I need to rank my UG , PG and my PhD seniors,I would definitely rank my PhD seniors in the top of every one. Evern now after years of completing my degree I'm still in contact with many of my seniors.

Admission

It all started when I went in my 3rd year of master degree as I was eligible for applying in PhD.I quickly filled this university application form which was available online and offline for rupees 200. With this, they had a aptitude test with an interview after which they granted me admission.

Faculty

We got really good professors as our faculty members. They were very qualified and experienced. We all had very good relation with them. Even in our first only they were easily connected with us and yet we re connected with them

Placement Experience:

Ph.D. students didn't have that many job placement opportunities on campus. Usually, students have to apply for a postdoc for further studies. Otherwise, they apply here or there for other job options. Or students generally go for Assistant professor applications in different colleges.

The courses were informative. The usual faculty: student ratio varies from subject to subject and ranged from 1:10 to 1:50. The professors were well versed with there subjects. See through the eyes of a Researcher!

Placement Experience:

For B.Tech and M.Tech there are plenty amount of options they have. They can choose packages from 12 LPA to crores even. As I'm doing Ph.D. from IIT what I can say is Post - a doctoral research career is good to go if we are opting to be lecturers. Otherwise, industries are also preferred by Chemists who synthesize compounds.

The best college for my PhD

Admission:

The candidate has to have a minimum requirement of a masters degree in planning education or any other similar field of study. After applying for the college, I attended an entrance exam conducted by the college which was followed by a personal interview by the college officials.

Good curriculum and overall technical exposure is excellent

I decided to pursue a PhD in Physics. IIT-Delhi is rich in imparting knowledge and offers a wide infrastructural advantage. At IIT-Delhi clearing NET examination is mandatory after which interviews are conducted twice in a year (in May for July session and in Nov-Dec for January session). After the interview the shortlisted candidates are allowed to interact with their choice of supervisors and with the mutual consent of student and supervisor, one can join the Ph. D. course
