Course Curriculum Overview
The course is offered in 2 parts. Part 1 comprises of course work and Part 2 is Dissertation work. The one-year duration comprises of 2 semesters, seven courses ( two credits each) and two optional courses are of one credit each.
Placement Experience
The college financially supports us with research papers and project, other than that placements are not as such provided in PhD and M.Phil.? After completion of the course, we can work there as faculties or look for a job outside.
College Events
Activities like training/ seminars, audio-video conferences happen every month. The college also celebrates Independence Day, pledge day, National Youth Day, International Yoga Day etc. Health checkup camp is organised every now and then.
Fee Structure And Facilities
For the Post Graduation course, fees are 15100 INR for the duration of 1 year. This makes it an affordable and feasible option. Provided that, we are also funded for projects and research by the college itself.
Campus Life
Extra-curricular activities consist of various activities related to our academics , like debates, seminars, workshops where we would put out theoretical knowledge into practical application. We would have industrial and field visits as well.
Hostel Facilities
The hostel amenities were great. There were both Ac/ non-ac rooms on sharing basis, with 24/7 water supply, electricity, well-cooked food. The hygiene was also maintained. We were also provided with a high-speed internet connection.
Admission
Candidates need to have a minimum score of 55% marks or its equivalent grade in Masters degree. For those who have not cleared their examination in the latter are still eligible, provided they pass the examination.
Faculty
All the faculties were experienced and taught us really well. We learnt a lot from them for our research projects and thesis submission. I had the best experience in learning from this college because of its faculty.
