IHM Pusa Admissions
- The admission into the BSc HHA program is based on NCHM JEE. The candidates will have to register themselves for the NCHM JEE 2024 at https://nchm.ntaonline.in/.
- Admission into MSc HA is based on MSc JEE. The interested candidates will have to register through https://www.thims.gov.in/ or through council webiste https://www.nchm.gov.in/.
- Candidates seeking admission in the diploma courses of the Institute will be required to fill an online application form available on the official website of the Institute. Amount of the application form Rs. 800/- for Gen./OBC and Rs. 400/- for SC/ST categories. They must fill all the necessary details with the utmost care. Final admission in any of the course will be based on merit obtained in the qualifying examination.
NOTE: The candidates must download the filled application form and submit it along with a DD in favor of “Principal, Institute of Hotel Management, Catering & Nutrition, Pusa, New Delhi”. These documents should be submitted along with the self-attested photocopies of your mark sheets, age proof and category certificate or any other certificates must be sent by speed post to “Principal, Institute of Hotel Management, Catering & Nutrition, Library Avenue, Pusa, New Delhi - 110012”.
Final selection of any candidate will be informed by a list displayed on the website or the notice board of the institute. Selected candidates are required to pay the fee and complete all formalities as per schedule displayed on the merit list, failing which their candidature stands canceled and admission will be offered to the next candidate in the next merit list.
Reservation Policy
The Institute has reserved seats for the following categories as per the Central Government Norms:
- Physically Handicapped Candidates: For physically handicapped candidates (PH) (including leprosy cured) as specified by the Government of India. Except for their admissible level of disability, such candidates should otherwise be fit to pursue the course.
- Orthopedically Handicapped Candidates: The candidates who have locomotion disability or cerebral palsy with locomotion impairment of a minimum of 40% and a maximum of 75% and fall in the following categories are eligible to apply.
- B.L. - Both legs affected but not arms
- P.A. - One arm affected (R or L) (a.) Impaired reach, (b.) Weakness or grip, (c.) Ataxia
- O.L. - One leg affected (R or L)
- M.W. - Muscular weakness and limited physical endurance.
- Visually Handicapped Candidates: Only those visually handicapped candidates who suffer from any one of the following conditions are eligible to apply. (i) Visual acuity not exceeding 6/60 or 20/200 (swollen) in the better eye with correcting lenses. (ii) Limitation of the field of vision subtending an angle of 20 or worse.
- Hearing Impaired candidates: Only those Hearing impaired candidates having disability between 40% to 75% shall be eligible. Mentally retarded persons are not covered under above reservations. At the time of submission of application, Physically Handicapped candidates will be required to necessarily attach the copy of Physically Handicapped Certificate issued by Chief Medical Officer (CMO) Central Government/ State Government/ Municipal Corporation-run Hospitals. Such candidates.

This college ranks no 1 in India in the field of hospitality and hotel administration that's why I chose this college over other colleges. I didn't applied for any other colleges. The admission process You have to give the NCHMCT JEE exam then according to your rank you will get the colleges according to your rank in the exam. The eligibility criteria is that you should have passed your 12 with above 45 percent and with English as a main subject or you can also give the exam is you are appearing for the 12 boards . The cutoffs differ every year and after you get the seat in the college you have to pay 20000 as seat confirmation .

- Things I disliked that they call themselves the top institute but the campus is so so so small
- Second thing I disliked is the infrastructure is like an below average college
Admission:
Firstly to get into the IHM's you have to clear the NCHMCT - JEE exam and according to your rank you will get the seats as for the IHM pusa you have to secure at least 300-400 rank if you are from general category. I don't apply for any other colleges because I had a believe in myself that I'll get anyone of the IHM either Delhi or Bengaluru and after my result I got rank of 254 from general category and I got a seat in IHM Pusa.

- Overcrowded: too many people. It can't really accommodate that many students but still has given admission to all kinds of kids.
Admission:
I only applied to this college in nchm counselling. So I got this college. It is said to be the best in the country so I took admission. Admisioon process is simple just give the nchmct exam. Then participate in the counselling. And you will be allotted the college. Submit the documents stated during the counselling during physical reporting and you are good to go

I opted for this college because of its good frame and name in this hospitality industry. The Faculty over here are best among all and they are excellent as per their department. My rank was that good to not get any rejection from any college.

The admission is through nchm jee entrance exam which held every year in the month of may. After the result you have choose college according to your rank. The minimum rank for this college is 400 for general category student.

I've gone for this college because this is the India's number 1 hotel management college and yes it also stands on that aspect.See I scored air 177 in the exam which is conducted by NCHM so yeah there was no option to get rejected from any other institution as other institutes also approched me to join them but I go for IHM PUSA

The application process for admission in IHM is offline only. For admission in Diploma and PG Diploma courses, the candidate must have scored 50% marks in 10+2 and bachelor’s degree with English as one of the subjects respectively. The selection in these diploma courses is based on merit in the qualifying exams and availability of seats.
Admission to diploma as well as other courses at IHM Pusa New Delhi will begin by May 11th 2024.
