IGNOU ODL Admission 2026 Deadline Extended Till April 10; Apply Online @ignou.ac.in

The IGNOU has extended the last date for submission of applications for its January 2026 admission cycle. As per the latest update on the official admission portal, candidates can now apply for Open and Distance Learning (ODL) programmes till April 10, 2026, except for certificate and semester-based courses. The admission deadline has been extended multiple times earlier as well.

The extension provides additional time for aspiring students to complete their application process and enrol in various undergraduate, postgraduate, diploma, and certificate programmes offered by the university. IGNOU has also advised applicants to keep their APAAR ID ready before initiating the registration process, as it is mandatory for admission.

Documents Required & Application Fee Details

Applicants are required to upload scanned copies of the essential documents when completing the application form. These include a recent passport-size photograph, signature, educational qualification certificates, and a category certificate (if applicable). All documents must be clear and meet the prescribed size specifications.

The application fee can be paid online through multiple payment options, including debit card, credit card, and net banking. Candidates are advised to complete the payment process carefully and retain a copy of the transaction receipt for future reference.
