National Museum Institute Admissions

Admissions to all courses are made solely on the basis of the entrance examination scores, conducted by the college itself. This written test is of one-hour duration. Post the examination, there is also an interview, which will be conducted by a Joint Selection Committee for MA programs, and by the Research Advisory Committee for Ph.D. courses. Candidates seeking admissions to MA courses are expected to pass (50% marks) the written entrance test and interview. Keeping in view the number of seats available candidates shall be admitted in order of merit.

Applications to the college are accepted offline. The steps to apply are as follows: 

• Visit the official website of the National Museum Institute to access the application form.
• Click on the ‘Students’ tab followed by ‘Admission’ to apply.
• Download the application form.  
• Fill all the personal and professional details.
• Send the duly filled application form by speed post / registered post or in-person to “The office of the Assistant Registrar (Academic), National Museum Institute, 1st Floor National Museum, Janpath, New Delhi-110011.”
