DTU Reviews on Placements, Faculty and Facilities

The course curriculum of electrical engineering is known to be the most challenging branch here at dtu for 2 reasons. One is the fact that electrical is actually a hard branch as it is in the core domain. The other reason is the faculty of this branch is a bit strict in terms of examinations. The senior faculty though are almost all doctors and the Junior ones are also well educated from reputed institutes. There are usually 2 periods of examinations the mid-sems and end-sems. The faculty-student ratio is well enough for providing proper attention to students

Our semester was rushed because of the late admission that's why it was just 3 months long, the exams are a bit tuff, need to study 3 weeks beforehand mid semesters and a month before end semester exams

Placement opportunities are very good. As name of DTU is famous by its name. All companies came here like Google, Microsoft, Amazon, etc. If you prepare well for them then definitely get a placement.

Placements at Delhi Technological University is well known and start from the end of the seventh semester. A variety of tech companies visit Delhi Technological University every year, more than four hundred plus companies.

From the 5th semester students became eligible for campus placements There are top companies coming like Amazon Microsoft Texas Instruments Nvidia. I don't know about the number of students who got placement. My plans are to get a job after getting my degree

Campus placements can start from the end of 3rd year. You can also get ppo after your internship. Placements are pretty good, I mean obv top branches help. For the 2021 data, we had over 300 companies, 2400 plus offers, avg was 17lac and the highest package was 1.8crore. The placement percentage was ig something above 90. I plan on getting some core electrical placements.

Placement is quite impressive, big companies come to hire students and provide decent packages, average package each year is above 15 lpa whereas the highest package goes like 1.1 to 1.2 crores. Companies like Google Facebook sprinkler morgan stanly and goldman sachs provide very high packages, and most of the students get places if we talk about numbers around 80% of students get offers from the companies and the rest choose to study further or get placed in off-campus placements.

Placements in the college are better than many other colleges in Delhi and almost everyone gets placed while they get graduated from the university. Moreover, off-campus placements are also a great deal.

after 6th semester, students should be eligible for applying for campus placements. Many tech, non-tech and core companies of around 100+ companies should arrive every year. The highest package should be 2 Crore and a minimum of 5 lakhs per annum.

Students become eligible for campus placements from the 7th semester. The highest package is in crores. Last time it was 1.5 crores I guess. More than 60% of students get placed. Rest go for higher studies or start their businesses.
