DTU college life

The curriculum is still based on the old method which was 20 years before, but the faculties are very supportive and really clear our doubts. the faculty to student ratio is quite balanced. in my first year, we had a ratio of 1:20 . But this decreased in our second year. here the faculty is highly qualified. professors have done their doctorate from the IITs and foreign universities. our exams are held in a time period of 2-3 months. difficulty level to pass the exams is quite good. at least 10-20 students got backs every semester in at least 2-3 subjects.

companies like Google, microsoft, etc, and twitter come to hire interns. if anyone has done any project in ml, web development can easily get an internship in very good companies. every year almost 200 student get internship in the tech.

firstly, the placement scenario here is overall good. every student who sits in the placement gets placed at the end of the day. students are eligible to sit in the internship after 4 semesters. and during 7 semesters in placements. almost all students placed. most of the students prefer to go to corporate.

The fee structure in our college is like this: 1st year - 2,09,000, 2nd year-2,19,000,3rd year - 2,29,000,4th year - 2,36,000. our college provides different scholarships like financial aid, and merit cum means. our college also provides campus jobs in MNCs and with an average package of over 15,00,000. the opportunity for the scholarship is very high. people can easily bag scholarships.

the campus life here is very cool and chill. we have different societies and clubs to get into. our college hosts one of the biggest fests of northern India 'engifest'. others fests are yuvaan(film and literary fest) , teckriti(tech fest). our college also provides a lot of sports facilities. classrooms are fully ac and have all necessary requirements. NSS, and retract are some of the social groups which are run by our college.

the facilities include mess food. room cleaning, common rooms, and a badminton court inside our hostel. the food quality is overall good. and have a variety of dishes on the menu. the locality here is not so good to avail a pg.

Dtu admits students on the basis of their ranks in the JEE mains. I have found the forms on the Jac website. they charge 1500 rupees for an application form and the dates are mentioned on the same website. I have got admission through the reservation benefit. I got a rank of 50000 and got software engg. in my 3 rounds of counselling. the only improvement I want to suggest is to shorten this whole counselling process.
