- I liked the campus beauty and the staff over here who are very supportive and the teachera who are ready for yoy every time you go to them and wven the hygine is maintained quite good here
- Faculty members in this department are the best atleast i think so, they interact with students in a friendly manner this allows us to freely ask our doubts and gain knowledge.
- Tution fee in each year is increased by 10 percent and there are number of scholarships and fee refunds for which a student can apply for after approval of his cirtificates and various other documents.
Dislikes
- Hostels - their is not sufficient hostels available for students and hostel mess is very bad. their is no student union available so it is very difficult to make some change in college.
- It is not so good as expected because of lack of facilities within the college.but according to social aspects and culture it is good and our nit is lacking infrastructure and this affects campus life too.
- It is a very small campus compared to the other nits, the college grounds are very small, and there are no separate buildings for the courses.

- Here all the club and committee are active
- Fest conducted by club and committee in which we learned and enjoy alot which give us refreshment and freshness
- Traning and placement cell always take session and deliver lots of knowledge and things through which we can learn many things which is so much helpful for us
Dislikes
- After going in department we can't bunk classes usually 😅 but this also a good thing
- Early morning classes we have to fastly in classroom
- During the fest our gaurd check out I'd card this feels like oh don't you remember my face everyday I came early morning
Placement Experience:
For campus placement from 7th semester students are eligible from 5th semester also they will get PPO and PPI offer on campus
JSW JSPL Vedanta etc this company give packege to many students
Highest packet is 55 lakh per Anum Many seniors get
In our course in 2024 100% we have been seen
Definately I'll also prepare for campus placement

- College provides many good facilities in terms of infrastructure
- Sports facilities are also very good in the campus
- Labs are very good for research purposes
Dislikes
- Less campus area as compared to other nities
- Limited seats in hostels so many have to live outside
- Hectic schedule in terms of academics and classes
Placement Experience:
In recent years of remeson every college placement is already affected.
But our college is coping with it very effectively.
College packages are getting better day by day and students of lower breaches are also getting good packages.

- The connectivity of the institute is good, since it is located in the raipur city
- The campus life is good, there are good fests in the college
- The placement opportunities are really good

- Lack of enough hostels is the main issue
- Lack of proper infrastructure is also an issue
- Non- ac classrooms make it difficult to study in summer
Placement Experience:
Placement opportunities in our college are really good. Many big it companies like Adobe, ZS- associates, Capgemini, cognizant, Goldman sachs etc along with core companies like JSW, JSPL, Vedanta, Mahindra etc also arrive for providing placement opportunities to the students. In our branch, this year, the placement percentage was more than 95% and the average package was around 8 lakhs per annum.

- It's position is an important aspect ,as it is located in the heart of the city raipur with very well connectivity to main railway station and airport
- It's campus life is really quite good with good atmosphere and. Good crowd
- There is not much academic burden , you get enough time to explore different skills
Dislikes
- Hostels are very limited, you have to score good in order to get a seat in hostel.
Placement Experience:
Placement is really quite nice in NIT raipur with an average package of 11lpa and the highest being 55 lpa. Nearly 75% people got placed in the year 2023-2024 with the highest percentage placement being in chemical engineering branch with almost 90% students getting placed . Many big companies such as Deloitte, Deutsche Bank, JP morgan, phone PE are our recruiters

- I really like the environment of the college especially during fests and events. Everytime there is so much to learn from the events like experiencing various tech knowledge combined with creativity. We really enjoy a lot during that time of the year
- The various clubs and committees present in the college are just amazing. I suggest everyone to participate in clubs to make college life even more interesting. We prepare ourselves to be in that hierarchical background. It teaches a lot.
- I really like the hostel facility, like how the hostels are just so near to the college. I mean we can go whenever there is a sudden extra class or any document work.
Dislikes
- The college needs to be developed more on the engaging areas like good canteens and daily needs store stationary and all. It sometimes become so difficult to arrange something if needed immediately.
- The hostel facilities need to be more maintained like hygiene wise and obviously the food quality need to be maintained also.
- There must be more indoor playground area and sports area and activities spot for more engagement activities. Badminton courts and indoor play area.
Placement Experience:
Students can get internship offers in the third year itself which can be converted to PPOs. Actual placements start from the fourth year. the companies start coming as soon as the fourth year gets started. Various companies visit our campus, depending on various branches like DBOI, VISA, Wipro, JIO, Mahindra, TVS, GE Healthcare, and many more providing a decent package. The highest package updated is 55LPA and the average package the company offers is 8LPA. I plan to secure a good placement from the college and maybe pursue a master's in MBA.

- Placements- placements are quite good. But this year it was down. 80-85% students got placed. Companies like Amazon, Deloitte, Wipro, Phonepay, DeBoy etc came to campus.
- Faculties. They are highly knowledgeable. Almost all professors are PhD holders and are easy to contact. They help us with referrals and study related issues.
- Clubs and committees. There are several clubs and committees in nit Raipur. We have tech club, music and dance club, finance club (you can't join in 1st year), sports club, photography club and many more
Dislikes
- Internships. Very few students gets internship here. This year only 20% got internship.
- Gym and ground. Football and cricket ground are worst. There is no lightening system in these grounds. There is only single gym for whole nit
- Hostels. There are limited hostels in this NIT. In first year you'll get hostels by your jee rank.
Placement Experience:
After 6th semester students are eligible for placements.
But pre- offers start in the third year. Many good compinies like Wipro, Infosys, Deshaw, Amazon, Deloitte and Phonepay etc visits nit Raipur. Total 834 offers were made this by 125 companies.
55 lpa was highest package offered and lowest was 4lpa.
Average package of this year was 13.7 lpa.
71% of all the eligible students got placed this year.
After completing my course I'll try to get placement or I'll try higher studies outside India.

Campus placements are for 7th and 8th semester students. Many MNCs visit the campus for placements such as Google, Infosys, microsoft,and other companies like tata,etc.
Highest salary package was upto 65 LPA and average was about 20LPA.

- Faculty are very good in nature and they will help you if you need any kind of help, suggestions.
- Good environment for study and many events are held by the clubs of NIT
- Library ,Play Ground , canteen , Gym and Garden

- Campus is small and there is a single building for all the branches
Placement Experience:
Students are eligible for the placemets after the completion of 6th semester. Many company visits in campus to provide placements , one can check the details of the placements and companies on the official website of NIT Raipur. Average package of NIT Raipur is 7LPA where in CSE it is about 15LPA. About 85-90% students get placement during placement drive.
My plain is to get the job in a company that arrives in college

- Placement Opportunities are very nice to be honest.
- Exposure to different fields covering a range from technical fields to other fields such as entertainment, economical fields etc
- Competitive atmosphere. Every student has got forte in something and showcases it very nicely

- Management sometimes didn't deliver as required and expected. Pre notices of many things came late.
Course Curriculum Overview:
My btech course covered every aspects that material engineering requires in this world. From extraction, to processing to studying different properties and optimising them to getting real life exposure of it, my course covered everything.

- The placements of this college is too good in recent years specially in my branch . The placement is around 100 percent.
- The faculties of this college have a lot of knowledge and too supportive.
- The campus environment of this college is good.
Dislikes
- The campus area is around 100 acres so this is not perfect for a NIt college according to me .
- The sports facilities is good but still it wants to improve.
- The event conducting process may be better due to more funding from the college.
Placement Experience:
My college placement scenario is very good and also it is increasing in last few years drastically because the preparation for the placement before the placement session is very good and this is the main reason in the very good placement.A lot of companies came in this college like jsw , vedanta, fitjee etc.
The placement ratio of the students are very good respect to others nit college.

As an alumnus of NIT Raipur, here are my views on this institution-
- Faculty- The faculty lags behind in terms of NIT standards. It is slightly above average. This is because their teaching method is not very engaging. That being said, the teachers are helpful. They will advise you to engage in extracurriculars as well.
- Student Interaction- The senior-junior interaction is good.
Despite IIT Raipur and AIIMS Raipur being in close proximity, interaction and
idea-sharing with them is negligible.
- Industry Connect- It has a good industry connection for some core branches like mining, metallurgy, and civil.
- Campus Life- The campus life isn’t good. But eventually, you’ll learn to cope with things and enjoy yourself. You’ll learn a lot during your degree from this campus.
- Infrastructure- There is a lot of room for improvement in the infrastructure of this college.
- Placement- Placement records are decent. Last year an average package of INR 10.1 LPA was recorded by the college. A total of 738 offers were made by 101 companies. Some of the companies that visit the campus for placements include- Infoedge, Siemens, Adobe, Barclays, Capgemini, FIAT, Reliance, TATA, SapientNitro, Oracle, Amazon, Samsung, JP Morgan Chase, Cognizant and Wipro.
Overall, I would say that NIT Raipur is a bit lacking in many respects. However, you’ll get a good chance to rise over here because of low competition.
