- I liked the campus beauty and the staff over here who are very supportive and the teachera who are ready for yoy every time you go to them and wven the hygine is maintained quite good here
- Faculty members in this department are the best atleast i think so, they interact with students in a friendly manner this allows us to freely ask our doubts and gain knowledge.
- Tution fee in each year is increased by 10 percent and there are number of scholarships and fee refunds for which a student can apply for after approval of his cirtificates and various other documents.
Dislikes
- Hostels - their is not sufficient hostels available for students and hostel mess is very bad. their is no student union available so it is very difficult to make some change in college.
- It is not so good as expected because of lack of facilities within the college.but according to social aspects and culture it is good and our nit is lacking infrastructure and this affects campus life too.
- It is a very small campus compared to the other nits, the college grounds are very small, and there are no separate buildings for the courses.

Placement Experience:
I am in first year right now .I don't know about the placements that much but I have some idea about that like the average placement in metallurgy is around 80 percent and average salary is 8 lakhs per annum .

- The College Location was in the city , has it railway station to commute.
- We can opt for being a day scholar and the areas near the college are quite affordable

- Hostels aren't available for all the students
- The Football ground not well maintained no flood lights and its all dry
Placement Experience:
The placements oppurtunites are really good and are students are allowed for internships in campus from 3rd year and are offered Pre placement offer if they perform good, and for the main placements 4th year students are eligible.
Both core and non core companies come to the college and NIT raipur has also tie up with Bhilai steel plant providing internship and secure jobs with good package , companies like amazon,flipkart, capgemini,Siemens,L&T visit the college.
Higehst package was around 55 lpa to two students one of IT and Mining .
Average is around 10 lpa .More than 75% get placed and others opt for higher studies and competitive examinations.

- The teaching faculty and the notes they provide are up to mark
- The classroom are very interesting and helpful

- Infrastructure of college could have been better
Placement Experience:
Placement of mining department are quite good but other branches are not so fruitful in the matter of placement. The average is around 600000 per annum which is quite average. You can get better placement in CSE or ECE branches

- The college campus is really good we have B Mart for our daily needs and as per food parlour we have amul and vachan and college canteen at our campus as well as Indian coffee house.
- The fests and events are really the best part of being in this college. There are many clubs and committees which organise a lots of fests and events.
- We have separate building for architecture and we have central computer centre at NIT raipur.we have big grounds for cricket football and any games.
Dislikes
- Here at NIT there are not enough hostel for all the students so many students had to stay out side of the college campus.
- In the rainy season the cricket ground turns into a lake. We can not play cricket there.
- We don't get gaps between our exams so it's challenging.

- Nitrr is one of the prestigious college of our country. It has NIRF ranking under 100 and provides good placements as well.
Dislikes
- Nit Raipur does not have a big infrastructure like other colleges and it is occupied in very small areas appox 100acres.
Course Curriculum Overview:
Nitrr offers many courses like btech,mtech, msc, PhD ,mca etc.Talking about btech course,it has total 8 semesters and each semester has two exams i.e, mid semester and end semester.The placement record of our college is pretty good

- The long procedure it requires for getting things done
- The people in my campus sometimes behave like brutals
- Less seats in college hostels, specially for girls
Course Curriculum Overview:
The civil engineering course curriculum at NIT Raipur is generally covers field such as structural engineering, environmental engineering, and construction management.
the practical application of theoretical concepts, laboratory work, and industry exposure influenced my decision to choose this course.

- The placement of an NIT Raipur is very good and also the curriculum and club activities as well as for best of the institute is also very good.
- There are many professor who are experience in their field also some professor have studied abroad so they give better knowledge
Dislikes
- The teacher of my branches is very strict and also they you much assignment and workload.
- The campus is very small as compared to a NITs.
- The hostel facility for the boys it is very poor and also the sports facility is also not up to the mark.
Placement Experience:
In the college the placement of the non core branches like computer science and information technology is much higher compared to the core branches .but we can say that the every student who are sincere can be placed in a good companies in core branches also there are 12 branches in NIT Raipur and all combining the college average packages around 10 lakh per annum which is a good which is good comparing to the private college

- Opportunity to develop an overall personality.As we participate in various activities including event management, PR, Sponsorship
- Peer group which is competitive improving us day by day by working hard. Now we love to race and win every competition.
- Decent Placements are one of my reasons to consider this college to pursue engineering
Dislikes
- Infrastructure is quite boring as we dont have a show off types campus which other NITs and IITs holds
- Strict environment that is maintained by our college which holds back some of the enjoying moments for us
- Lack of hostels is a major problem in NIT Raipur. I think everyone should get a chance to live a hostel life once
Placement Experience:
NIT Raipur is known for its excellent campus placements. From 7th semester you are eligible for the campus placements. Various know companies visit NIT Raipur including Phone pay , zs associates. As this year i.e 2024 our 70 seniors got placement in Zs associates only. Also government companies like BPCL hires students and offert upto 22 lakhs ctc. As specifically we have minimum package of 7 laks per annum upto maximum of 22 lakhs per annum including core and non core profiles.
Students from all the branches are flexible to pursue core and non core profiles like Software development , Data Analyst etc.

- the infrasture of nit raipur is so bad , nit raipur have ver small campus and in one building all branches are present except architecture , they have only separetae building
- hostel facility is very limited in first year most of the student get hostel not all , but after first first year very few ones got hostel in college campus

placement senario is very much good in our college .every year most of the student get placed if you have studied .
many companies come in our college for non core and core both , in my branch the placement is so good most of the seniour got placed in core companies

- Hostel shortage: If there would have more hostels then more students could get the facilities
Placement Experience:
Nit raipur has a strong trace record of placements, with reputable companies like TATA , Vdanta and many more, visiting the campus to recruit students each year. The placement cell works actively to facilitate oppurtunities for students, providing training, networking events, and career guidance to enhance employability. Many students secure high paying job offers through campus placements. From 7th semester student become eligible for campus placements. And many sit for 6th semester internship and secure their place at reputable companies.

As an alumnus of NIT Raipur, here are my views on this institution-
- Faculty- The faculty lags behind in terms of NIT standards. It is slightly above average. This is because their teaching method is not very engaging. That being said, the teachers are helpful. They will advise you to engage in extracurriculars as well.
- Student Interaction- The senior-junior interaction is good.
Despite IIT Raipur and AIIMS Raipur being in close proximity, interaction and
idea-sharing with them is negligible.
- Industry Connect- It has a good industry connection for some core branches like mining, metallurgy, and civil.
- Campus Life- The campus life isn’t good. But eventually, you’ll learn to cope with things and enjoy yourself. You’ll learn a lot during your degree from this campus.
- Infrastructure- There is a lot of room for improvement in the infrastructure of this college.
- Placement- Placement records are decent. Last year an average package of INR 10.1 LPA was recorded by the college. A total of 738 offers were made by 101 companies. Some of the companies that visit the campus for placements include- Infoedge, Siemens, Adobe, Barclays, Capgemini, FIAT, Reliance, TATA, SapientNitro, Oracle, Amazon, Samsung, JP Morgan Chase, Cognizant and Wipro.
Overall, I would say that NIT Raipur is a bit lacking in many respects. However, you’ll get a good chance to rise over here because of low competition.
