- I liked the campus beauty and the staff over here who are very supportive and the teachera who are ready for yoy every time you go to them and wven the hygine is maintained quite good here
- Faculty members in this department are the best atleast i think so, they interact with students in a friendly manner this allows us to freely ask our doubts and gain knowledge.
- Tution fee in each year is increased by 10 percent and there are number of scholarships and fee refunds for which a student can apply for after approval of his cirtificates and various other documents.
Dislikes
- Hostels - their is not sufficient hostels available for students and hostel mess is very bad. their is no student union available so it is very difficult to make some change in college.
- It is not so good as expected because of lack of facilities within the college.but according to social aspects and culture it is good and our nit is lacking infrastructure and this affects campus life too.
- It is a very small campus compared to the other nits, the college grounds are very small, and there are no separate buildings for the courses.

Onwards from 7th semester the companies start taking interviews and offer jobs to the students,many compaines like Amazon, TCS, Wipro, LInkedin, Microsoft, JPmorgan etc are the companies vistes the college and offer jobs to the students.The highest package of the year 2024 is 62 LPA offered by Linkedin to a computer sience student.

- NIT Raipur has a strong placement record with many top companies visiting the campus for recuitments.The training cell is active in organising training and placement activities to help students to secure good jobs.
- NIRF and Ranking :It is under top 79 by NIRF ranking in whole engineering colleges in India
- Location: It is located in central India so that communication is well established .
Dislikes
- Campus Area: It has small campus , only about 100acres
- Infrstructure: It has Not very well infrastructure.
- Hostel Facilites: It can't provide hostel facilities to all students.
Placement Experience:
It provide excellence placement to computer science and Information technolgy branch with avg package of 15 -18 lakhs
It also has great placement in core branches like metallurgy and material science, mechanical , chemical etc

- I liked the environment of the college where teachers help their students a lot
- There a lot of benefits because of clubs which leads to overall development of students
- Helping nature between juniors and seniors
Dislikes
- We are not having sufficient hostels so majority are forced to stay outside of college
- There is no proper infrastructure in college
- In summer it is difference to sustain in the college including hostel
Placement Experience:
From 7th semester the students will be eligible to get the placements the companies are Cape gemini Wipro TCS etc the highest package is 62 lpa and avg package is 6 lpa
Overall 80% got placed and you can go towards research etc

The curriculum of the course is also very good in terms of practical knowledge and also in terms of skills the education that are given by our profferss are very realistic and also help during our placements

Placement Experience:
The placements have been really great in my college..And students become eligible for placements from 6th semester.
103 companies visited last year for placements in our college. Average packages suit well to the students here.

- College campus is located at the prime location of the city.
- Our college provides very good placement compared to other nits.
- All the necessary service and cafés are in the campus itself.
Dislikes
- Campus is not big enough and does not have proper sports facilities.
- There is only one academic building for all the departments no separate departments in the campus
- Hostel seats are very limited and not everyone gets hostel
Placement Experience:
The placements of our college are amazing. Nearly 80 percent of the students get easily placed. Many companies like google, adobe, Factbook visit our campus. The average package for b. tech. is nearly 10 lpa and the highest package received last year was 55 lpa.

- Faculty department is good, healthy social environment and comfortable to move around safety is good
- Departments are active and very good and technical availability is also good
- Highly secured and we'll maintained garden and canteens

- Dj night has been banned there the events need more investment and active participation
- Classroom needs better benches and seating arrangement and repair
- Campus size should be increased and more trees should be planted around

The course curriculum is also very good and very much knowledgeable although there should be more practical training and teaching in all the subjects for better understanding and learning and application

- Less burden to the students leading to better emotional health
- Various activities regularly held for refreshments of the students

- Campus size is quite small as compared to other nit
- Food facilities were not up to the mark in taste,service, availability
- Hostel space was limited so there were lot of needy students who didn't got the hostel
Placement Experience:
Placement were good there were too many company who came and gave opportunities to the students. Mostly all the students who were elegible got placed and some students got more than 2 offers form the company.
Vedanta limited came gave 100 opportunities
Deloitte came and gave 120+ opportunities

- Environment here is good you will definitely feel pleasant
- Club and committee help you get exposure and know more people
- Most of the faculty here are really good at teaching
Dislikes
- There are not sufficient no. of hostels for students
- Girls hostel have different and unfair rules as compared to boys hsotels
- Campus is too small, not like other NITs
Course Curriculum Overview:
The course curriculum seems perfect to me since we have the major subjects of the course in the early years which makes it easier for us to gain enough knowledge in further years to serve the nation and become succesful.

- The college has good library and course releated books which helps students study easily. Also the lend books for one month of time.
- College canteen, which was opened recently is a good place to hangout.
- Basketball court, the court woth two hoops is perfect place for a player to practice skills.
Dislikes
- The voice of construction, constantly kills my eardrums.
Course Curriculum Overview:
I choose my course cause it was best course offered in NIT Raipur. NIT Raipur was known for its civil base which is widely recognised in Chattisgarh state. The course is not updated it needs to be update to latest technology.

As an alumnus of NIT Raipur, here are my views on this institution-
- Faculty- The faculty lags behind in terms of NIT standards. It is slightly above average. This is because their teaching method is not very engaging. That being said, the teachers are helpful. They will advise you to engage in extracurriculars as well.
- Student Interaction- The senior-junior interaction is good.
Despite IIT Raipur and AIIMS Raipur being in close proximity, interaction and
idea-sharing with them is negligible.
- Industry Connect- It has a good industry connection for some core branches like mining, metallurgy, and civil.
- Campus Life- The campus life isn’t good. But eventually, you’ll learn to cope with things and enjoy yourself. You’ll learn a lot during your degree from this campus.
- Infrastructure- There is a lot of room for improvement in the infrastructure of this college.
- Placement- Placement records are decent. Last year an average package of INR 10.1 LPA was recorded by the college. A total of 738 offers were made by 101 companies. Some of the companies that visit the campus for placements include- Infoedge, Siemens, Adobe, Barclays, Capgemini, FIAT, Reliance, TATA, SapientNitro, Oracle, Amazon, Samsung, JP Morgan Chase, Cognizant and Wipro.
Overall, I would say that NIT Raipur is a bit lacking in many respects. However, you’ll get a good chance to rise over here because of low competition.
