- I liked the campus beauty and the staff over here who are very supportive and the teachera who are ready for yoy every time you go to them and wven the hygine is maintained quite good here
- Faculty members in this department are the best atleast i think so, they interact with students in a friendly manner this allows us to freely ask our doubts and gain knowledge.
- Tution fee in each year is increased by 10 percent and there are number of scholarships and fee refunds for which a student can apply for after approval of his cirtificates and various other documents.
Dislikes
- Hostels - their is not sufficient hostels available for students and hostel mess is very bad. their is no student union available so it is very difficult to make some change in college.
- It is not so good as expected because of lack of facilities within the college.but according to social aspects and culture it is good and our nit is lacking infrastructure and this affects campus life too.
- It is a very small campus compared to the other nits, the college grounds are very small, and there are no separate buildings for the courses.

- Placements, good for core & non-core branches. The CP, Hackathon Culture is just amazing almsot everytime you'll find students discussing about making teams for a particular hackathon or discussing strategies for case study competitions.
- The amazing alumni network in reputated companies allows college to get continuous placements & internship opportunities on campus.
- Option for the Choice of Open-Electives (You can choose 1 subject of your favourite branch starting from 5th Sem).
Dislikes
- Primitive thinking of staffs, professors & hostel wardens, there is barricading for boys & girls even for music concert events. You cannot roam around with your friends of different gender, professors keep an eye on you.
- There is a reserved seats for professors, even on music events which is like 1st to the stage and students are kept behind them way far struggling in crowds.
- Lack of Proper Hostel facilities & and Seating place in the campus and the campus is not that big compared to other NITs.
Placement Experience:
Students are allowed to sit on placements from the 7th sem (for B.Tech) and for internships(5th sem), before entering to 8th sem (almost all students get a job).
For circuital branches like CS, IT, ECE, EE Avg package is around 15lpa, for reminding core companies the Avg package is around 8-9lpa.
Some renowned companies visits are Oracle, PhonePE, Microsoft, Google, Optum, PocketFM, Tekion, WD, UKG, NVIDIA, AMD, Kanerika, IBM, Hyperverge, ZS Associates, etc.
Almost 95 % of Students get a placement each year.
Do the corporate job for 1-2 year then pursue my startup as a full-time.

- ...The seniors are quite good ...the ragging is negligible here..
- The club and committee for different ECA are quite active
- The course curriculum is well structured and organised as per various NITs and IITs of India ...
Dislikes
- The Faculties are a bit good some HODs are well experienced..but few new PhD scholars seemed inexperienced
- The infrastructure is also both good and weaker at some points ...like the sports and clubs committee infra has a loop ..even classes of full size of 115 are not capable and are divided into sections..so the infrastructure is not good
- There is a big lack of hostels at NIT Raipur Very few get hostel here
Placement Experience:
Yeah, one thing which his a bit above average at NIT Raipur is it's placement ..for my IT branch the highest pa package was 65 lakhs (off campus) ..the avg package is 18 lakhs ...the overall median was 14.4 lakhs ... The average package of college is over 10 lakhs ...the college is visited by big and famous MNCs and Even FAANG ...it has a Career Development centre CDC for placement

- There are not much things to be disliked, The only thing is some lectures would teach classes in only hindi language that I don't like
- Hostel facility is big problem, there are no enough hostels for all the students in NIT raipur some has to stay out of campus
- Placements for low courses like metallurgical, chemical and biotech are not good compared to others
Placement Experience:
Starting from 7th semester everyone is eligible to sit in the campus placements.
If you have cgpa more than 7 CGPA then you are eligible for every company to attend the interview and is is based on companies individual criteria.
If you are belong to cse,ece,it, mechanical,civil then you will get 100 ???? placements for average 8LPA
but if you are in lower sections like metallurgy, chemical, biotech biomed then upto 60% placements only.

- Nit Raipur is a centralized govt. institute, so opportunity in Nit, Raipur regarding placement is high.
- Placement opportunity is high regarding companies visit institute & offering packages like average 15lpa. Companies visiting in both Core & N0n-core sectors for placement.
- Many Govt PSU companies visits NIT Raipur for on campus placement in core sector also with offering high packages.
Dislikes
- Hostel are not enough for all student, also the number of rooms are very less. Here Hostel has been allotted to the student as per their marks so only good scorer student getting hostels.
- Maintenance of college campus & hostel is very worst also ground are not much clear. grounds are covers with grasses & lake mostly 5-6 month in a year.
- Gym facility for student are very bad. There are very small size gym which is not enough for student.
Placement Experience:
Placement of NIT Raipur is little bit good. These are many companies visiting for placements.
Companies starts coming for starting of 7th semester students.
A various variety of companies like core non-core all visits there for recruitment process, they recruiting students through various process like exams GDs & PIs etc. Allmost by all compoanies 75-80% students are getting placed every year, its varying with different economic conditions of the year.
Highest package is getting almost 40-50 lpa but for few studens only. Average pakage is almost 7lpa in NIT Raipur.

- The outdoor activities and events which college groups organise.
- Also live projects and practicals was good.
- Teaching techniques and knowledge of professor was very good.
Dislikes
- Canteen facilities was not upto the mark.
- Space is sufficient but hostel was not built for all students.
- College is in mid of city so Little bit crowded.
Placement Experience:
Placement is a very good company that starts coming before the eighth semester and a variety of companies visit there for recruitment they scrutinize among them through various exams pi gds etc. They also provide higher education facilities with jobs.

- Events and fests are top notch there are cultural and tech fests
- The campus life and people to interact to

- Hostels are a big pain . They don't have enough hostal seats
- College is on the costlier side if you see the facilities they provide
- Campus facilities are not to the level of other nits
Placement Experience:
Main reason that nit Raipur is above other colleges is it's placements the placement percentage of chemical Engineering is 90% with an average package of 10 lakh per annum
So you will get a lot of core and non core opportunities in this college

- Academics and Collage campus is quite good
- It's location, it is in the middle of city raipur and it's heavenly, other colleges are in somewhere village it's in middle of the city and you can bring your bike
- Placements , are really really good the best thing about this college is it's placements
Dislikes
- Campus size is small compared to other nits ( it's only 100 acres )
- There is not enough hostel seats to accommodate all the students you have to live outside the campus
- Very very hectic schedule of this college
Placement Experience:
The placements are the best thing about this college. Average package is around 15 lakh in ( CSE IT ECE AND ELECTRICAL) with around 70-80 % placement percentage and 10 lakh in ( Chemical meta mining mechanical and civil) and around 90% placement percentage

- i liked the faculty of the electrical department. the professors are very helpful and highly educated and provides the best concept to easily grasp the concepts
- the college has so many clubs which are really helpful for the student to engage in and enhance there communication leadership skills and learn a lot about how the things works in a particular domain
- the college has exciting fest which is really like stress buster for student to enjoy in that event and the best part is that the student conduct and manage the event fully
Dislikes
- the cmapus size is only 10 acres which is very small campus
- the eateries are not as much as in the other NITs campuses
- the boys to girls ratio is very less about 4.75
Placement Experience:
our college placements are good around 80 percentage of students placed in 2023 palcement drive.the off campus opportunities are there through the referral of out aluminies working in that companies and student can write the government exams like GATE ,CAT, GRE exams and get there masters degree from IITs,IIM (MBA),ASTERS IN FOREIGN UNIVERSITIES LIKE MIT ,STANFORD

- We have very good faculties who always support you for improvement
- We have cafe coffee day, Vachan parlour, canteen in our college
- We have central garden and left garden where we get relaxed
Dislikes
- Lack of seats in hostel so not every student get hostel
Placement Experience:
For 5th semester only students start getting internship and from 4 year they will get placement thorough different companies like coal India limited, Amazon etc
Highest package this year was 28lpa
And average package was 10lpa

- Good Alumini network which helps in wherever we go and do anything
- Many clubs and committe , helps student to improve his talent in whichever field he want
- Good placemwnt statistics, especially core placements are great
Dislikes
- Pretty small campus , before we start it ends
- Hostels are pretty less, only 250 out of 1000 members get hostel every year
- No campus auditorium and no sports complex and playing area is pretty minimum
Course Curriculum Overview:
Academic curriculum is great but it need to be improved because at last most of the students want placements ,they need to add few subjects related to placements because they need not to study externally

What is your review of National Institute of Technology, Raipur?

As an alumnus of NIT Raipur, here are my views on this institution-
- Faculty- The faculty lags behind in terms of NIT standards. It is slightly above average. This is because their teaching method is not very engaging. That being said, the teachers are helpful. They will advise you to engage in extracurriculars as well.
- Student Interaction- The senior-junior interaction is good.
Despite IIT Raipur and AIIMS Raipur being in close proximity, interaction and
idea-sharing with them is negligible.
- Industry Connect- It has a good industry connection for some core branches like mining, metallurgy, and civil.
- Campus Life- The campus life isn’t good. But eventually, you’ll learn to cope with things and enjoy yourself. You’ll learn a lot during your degree from this campus.
- Infrastructure- There is a lot of room for improvement in the infrastructure of this college.
- Placement- Placement records are decent. Last year an average package of INR 10.1 LPA was recorded by the college. A total of 738 offers were made by 101 companies. Some of the companies that visit the campus for placements include- Infoedge, Siemens, Adobe, Barclays, Capgemini, FIAT, Reliance, TATA, SapientNitro, Oracle, Amazon, Samsung, JP Morgan Chase, Cognizant and Wipro.
Overall, I would say that NIT Raipur is a bit lacking in many respects. However, you’ll get a good chance to rise over here because of low competition.
