NIT Raipur B.Tech Fee Structure (2024-25) The total fee for the first semester is Rs. 1,07,800. This includes a tuition fee of Rs. 62,500, admission fees of Rs. 20,000, and other charges such as a caution money deposit (refundable) of Rs. 10,000. For subsequent semesters, the tuition fee remains Rs. 62,500, but the total payable amount decreases as the one-time charges are no longer applicable. The total fees per semester are: First Sem: Rs. 1,07,800 Second Sem: Rs. 70,300 Third Sem: Rs. 68,930 Fourth Sem: Rs. 68,390 Fifth Sem: Rs. 68,540 Sixth Sem: Rs. 68,000 Seventh Sem: Rs. 68,170 Eighth Sem: Rs. 67,630 The image also notes that students whose parents' income is below Rs. 1 lakh per annum are exempt from tuition fees. Those with an income between Rs. 1 lakh and Rs. 5 lakh are required to pay a tuition fee of Rs. 20,833 per semester. It appears the tuition fees remain constant over the four years of the program. And same goes for sc / st they are also exempt from tution fees. Like ews students have to pay 60000 each year similarly , 1 lakh to 5 lakh regime peoples have to pay 17000 per year , sc/st student also have to pay 7200 per year . There are mainly scholarship but I am aware with 2 of them only one is provided by ONGC for the OBC students based on merits , and one is by state government.

Yearly I pay nearly 1.4 lakhs while some other caste students have to pay only 20 thousand for 1 year.... which is very unfair and it is government college still these is the condition . College should change the scheme and equal the value of fees for every one

As I am ST candidate for me there is a approx 6000-7000 fee per sem and as for hostel and its approx 60000 , fee in 1st year is higher but I didn't remember the exact amount and from which is good amount of fee is refunded based on the parent income .The college provides me scholarship in 1st year of 1lakhs approx in second year i got 50k

Per semester fee is 70 000 rs for gen obc. My family income is less than 5lpa so for me there is 2/3rd fee concession which mean i have to pay around 30 000 rs per semester and thia does not include hostel as college doesnt provide hostel to all its student (really poor infrastructrw)

Few structure of NIT Raipur Doesn't vary alot. This year the fee for btech students are almost 1 lakh 40 thousand in this the tution fees cost around 1 lakh 20 thousand and rest of the charges are for Library,lab etc..along with this there are alot of state or national level scholarship which can be avail. This institution provide fee weaver for students with yearly income less than 7 and 1 lakh.for students having less than 1 lakh yearly income they don't have to payrl tution fees and just rest of the charges which tends to almost 17k and students with income less than 7 lakh pay only 30% of the tution fees

The tution fee varies from student to student based on their category and income. For OBC-NCL(Non creamy layer) students fee waiver will be applied. For SC,ST students ,even though their income is more than 1 lakh fee waiver is applied. For general category students if their income is less than 1 lakh they will avail fee waiver,and for income more than 1 lakh they havbe to pay the fee(around 63k per semester). Students can apply for scholarships like Reliance scholarships,Foundation for excellence etc.Or you can visit globalscholarship.org for info regarding the available scholarships. The fee structure varies for different categories and is based on category,low income.The fee structure for general and OBC candidates are 140000.For the students whose family income is below 5L 2/3 Rd of the fee have to paid.for the candidates income blw 1L it is 1/3 Rd of the fee.For SC/ST category it is about 14K.Various scholarships are available such as NSP,FFE and scholarships offered by different companies.Stipends will be given to the M tech students.Education loans are also a option to the students.

Yes, you can go for the Chemical branch at NIT Raipur unless you get selected for a better NIT till the last round. Even if you aren’t interested in Chemical Engineering, you need not worry as NIT Raipur has a branch change policy that lets you upgrade your branch to a better one after one year. You need a good CGPA and enough vacant Seeta in the desired branch to make this possible. Many of my friends at NIT Raipur have upgraded their branches from chemical to IT, Electrical, and Civil.
