Course Curriculum Overview

3

The curriculum is very good . They will make you an engineer out of it . And it's academic is actually good that's why recruiters prefer this college and it's placements is actually really great and out of skys but it's hectic and the schedule you have to deal with , it's overwhelming tbh sometimes in computer science they can do much better in practicals they can do so much better it's physics department is what I likes is they will give a printed practical you don't have write like a donkey they can do the same with other practicals as well they can do the computer science practicals online and all that . It's nation institute of technology use the damn technology

Internships Opportunities

4

Like the placement you will the opportunity of internship also the career development cell and placement and internship cell will help you a lot and getting into an internship from nit Raipur is fairly easy other than any regular college

Placement Experience

5

The placements are the best thing about this college. Average package is around 15 lakh in ( CSE IT ECE AND ELECTRICAL) with around 70-80 % placement percentage and 10 lakh in ( Chemical meta mining mechanical and civil) and around 90% placement percentage

Fees and Financial Aid

Tution fee of Nit Raipur is 70'000 per semester for first 2 semesters and then around 66000 for the rest 6 ( btech programs ) If you belong to ST/SC you have to pay your first semester fees and all of it will be returned and you don't have to pay for the rest of 4 years and for general and OBC category if your family income is below 1 lakh per annum then you don't have to pay the tution fees ( it requires a income certificate)

Campus Life

5

The fests are the best , avartan , technocracy, garba nights and many small and big events , one of the biggest tech fest in middle india is organised by nit Raipur it's a thrill life , there clubs and commitees you will have fun along with your studys , kuch na kuch hote rehta hain suna suna nai lagega

Admission

I applied for all the above nits and didn't got the seat this college I got because of my home state and the cut-off you can check it on jossa and csab websites , obviously you get this college by writing jee . And the admission process is very smooth they make sure if you got the seat you will get admission.

Faculty

3

Faculty to students ratio is quite good in this college. But sometimes you have deal with wrong proffs . Other than top branches you can't really rely on proff to teach you computer science subject they ruin it ,and make it feels like you can't do it . Exams are mid sem and end sem and the time will fly by before you know they are there and you have study 6 subjects in a semester

The campus placements are decent, average package is somewhere around 10-11 LPA and lowest around 4 LPA where are the highest is around 65 LPA. around 70% of students get placed through campus placement. As this is an NIT, there are many intership opportunity and stipend varis from 10,000-35,000 per month. Companies like Adobe, AMD, Intel, Microsoft provide intership opportunities in this college and over 20% students get properly paid internships

Some renowned companies visits are Oracle, PhonePE, Microsoft, Google, Optum, PocketFM, Tekion, WD, UKG, NVIDIA, AMD, Kanerika, IBM, Hyperverge, ZS Associates, etc. Almost 95 % of Students get a placement each year. Course Curriculum Overview:

As I am a student of btech in computer Science. And I choose this course because of high demanding of software developer. As I heard from my senior that college provides minor internship. But this is not enough for a student if he or she wants to get a good job. Students are need to be self dependent and learn skills from themselves. Teachers are only for curriculum activities. I think if placement scenario will improve then it will beneficial for the students. Exams happens 2 time (2 sem) a year and in two class test happens in one semester
