- I liked the campus beauty and the staff over here who are very supportive and the teachera who are ready for yoy every time you go to them and wven the hygine is maintained quite good here
- Faculty members in this department are the best atleast i think so, they interact with students in a friendly manner this allows us to freely ask our doubts and gain knowledge.
- Tution fee in each year is increased by 10 percent and there are number of scholarships and fee refunds for which a student can apply for after approval of his cirtificates and various other documents.
Dislikes
- Hostels - their is not sufficient hostels available for students and hostel mess is very bad. their is no student union available so it is very difficult to make some change in college.
- It is not so good as expected because of lack of facilities within the college.but according to social aspects and culture it is good and our nit is lacking infrastructure and this affects campus life too.
- It is a very small campus compared to the other nits, the college grounds are very small, and there are no separate buildings for the courses.

- College is in good location and easy to transport
- It is anti ragging college so there is no any issues
- Environment of college is good in sense of placements and pakages

- There is shortage of hostel and finding good room at easy price in that area is very problematic
- Mess food of hostel is totally bad repeating same things
- Study materials are totally brain killer things for one subject we have to study from more than 2 or 3 books faculties ppt/notes plus internet . Contents are not available online is big problem
Placement Experience:
Placements in my College is pretty good , from 6 sem onwards students became eligible for campus placements , there is a alot of companies which visited our college such as Vedanta, vipro, Capgemini , reliance industrial etc . I'm not exactly sure but highest package last year was around 50-60 los average are about 7-8 lpa. Good percent of students are getting placements

- The culture of nit Raipur is very good , the clubs and communities are excellent, fest are of top class
- The infrastructure of the college is also best so you can spend a lot of time in the campus also ,
- The canteens are good ( Bihan, and vachan) and infront of the college you can get the nit chowpati, so availability of food is quite good 😋
Dislikes
- Proper land is not utilizes in the campus , a lot of waste land is kept that must be used to make campus the best
- The ground is very poor , in some parts very big grases are there , and the ground is not maintained
- We have only 2 practical labs in a week so we get very less time to understand and learn the practical knowledge

Course Curriculum Overview:
The curriculum of nit Raipur is not that good , the college will not make you ready for the placement oriented, by clubs and commmities we get to learn a lot , in biomedical the placement is also low become of lack in practical knowledge, by increasing the number of practicals we get more ready for placement but here practical classes are very less ,
Exams - For each semester we have to give mid and end semester and while exams we do not get any leave ( if Sunday do not comes in paper )

- College campus is very good. Out side the college area is very good. College area is also silent and cool.
- College can developed his hostel facilities and develope their mess food.
- Facilities are very good. Faculties are also phd qualify. They teach well.

- College hostel facilities and mess food is very bad.
- College sports facilities are also less .
- College main hall is very small. And college conduct their program near auditorium.
Course Curriculum Overview:
My course is Metallurgical and materials engineering. This course is very good in this college. My branch faculties are very good and very strict. Their techniques and teaching style is best. The exam held in every 6 months. There are 8 semester in 4 years. And every semester have mid and end semester.

- First of all i just like the way that how the teachers are enthusiastic to teach the students, the faculty was good.
- I love the timings of the college. We usually get Saturday and Sunday as the leaves so we can explore more in our college life.
- We have good sports equipment and many chancee to participate in sports we had also have been provided with a new sports Complex
Placement Experience:
The placements in college are decent students will have a chance of getting job from their 5th and 6th semester only. The Heighest package of the year 2024 was recorded as 62 lakhs per annum and the average of 14 lakhs per annum after getting a degree I'll do some startup plan with my friends.

- I liked the college very much as the college is very big and is providing us with many facilities
- Even the faculty are very good and understanding
- There are many extra activities and good participation in sports and club activities
Dislikes
- Senior abs junior interaction is not that great
- Maths faculty is not that great that is the Sir is absent very frequently
- The hostel food sucks as all the time we get potato
Placement Experience:
The placement rate and the average package is quite good in our college the placement rate is approximately 83 percent and average package is 1600000 i how I would get a package in above average only.

- The people and freinds i made in last few montnhs and times i spend with my freind
- Didnt engaged much in external activities other than going for shruti fest which was held in out college last month
- The crowd is really good and good and consistent guidance from out seniors from day 1
Dislikes
- Complete lack of crucial infrastructre like hostel
- Cirriculum doesnt allow u to learn anything they just want u to wrote learn for exam
- Most teachers dont even know their own subject properly or atleast they dont want to teach it and still expect 75% attendance from us
Placement Experience:
Placement is decent atleast for our branch placement was at 93% of the total eligible student. Some student even got pre placement offer at end of their 3rd year and if one works hard enough they will land a good job

- The staff here is good except for few of them all are great and labs are good
- The facilities are good and the infrastructure is good but a little old

- The exams are held very very quickly without very less gap
- The teacher's are educayed but never complete the syllabus
- The classrooms could have been Air conditioned.
Placement Experience:
The placements are good in NOT Raipur, around 70% of the students get placed easily and the lowest is around 4 LPA, and average around 7 LPA and highest around 65 LPA. The internship opportunities are good and around 20% get internship

- I like the faculty here, they are very friendly and supportive
- The infrastructure has good ventilation and weather round the year is pleasant
- There are too many clubs and committes to choose from.
Dislikes
- Classes should have ACs, and infrastructure is very old
- The syllabus could have been better and easier
- Hostels facility is available to limited number of students only
Placement Experience:
The placement here is very decent to start with and 3rd year students get chances for internship in mnc's but 4th year students after completion of btech degree and many companies like phonepe qualcomm...

- The faculty is really friendly, the kids are very down to earth and not showy.
- The grading is very easy hence it's easy to get high CPI and the college has good infrastructure
- The college has good ventilation and really good labs
Dislikes
- I think they could install AC in classes as it gets pretty warm in the summers.
- I disliked the management here, they are slow and lazy in their work and also don't want to work
- The exams are taken without any gaps and it becomes really really hectic to give the exams

around 70% of students get placed through campus placement.
As this is an NIT, there are many intership opportunity and stipend varis from 10,000-35,000 per month. Companies like Adobe, AMD, Intel, Microsoft provide intership opportunities in this college and over 20% students get properly paid internships

As an alumnus of NIT Raipur, here are my views on this institution-
- Faculty- The faculty lags behind in terms of NIT standards. It is slightly above average. This is because their teaching method is not very engaging. That being said, the teachers are helpful. They will advise you to engage in extracurriculars as well.
- Student Interaction- The senior-junior interaction is good.
Despite IIT Raipur and AIIMS Raipur being in close proximity, interaction and
idea-sharing with them is negligible.
- Industry Connect- It has a good industry connection for some core branches like mining, metallurgy, and civil.
- Campus Life- The campus life isn’t good. But eventually, you’ll learn to cope with things and enjoy yourself. You’ll learn a lot during your degree from this campus.
- Infrastructure- There is a lot of room for improvement in the infrastructure of this college.
- Placement- Placement records are decent. Last year an average package of INR 10.1 LPA was recorded by the college. A total of 738 offers were made by 101 companies. Some of the companies that visit the campus for placements include- Infoedge, Siemens, Adobe, Barclays, Capgemini, FIAT, Reliance, TATA, SapientNitro, Oracle, Amazon, Samsung, JP Morgan Chase, Cognizant and Wipro.
Overall, I would say that NIT Raipur is a bit lacking in many respects. However, you’ll get a good chance to rise over here because of low competition.
