I like the faculty here, they are very friendly and supportive
The infrastructure has good ventilation and weather round the year is pleasant

Dislikes

Classes should have ACs, and infrastructure is very old
The syllabus could have been better and easier

Course Curriculum Overview

The curriculum followed is pretty old but not very irreverent. It can get you placed but not at very high paying jobs. The curriculum could have been way better and way mote comprehensive. It is overall okay.

Internships Opportunities

I am in the first sem so what i know is as it is a 2nd tier college there might be internship in, summer vacation but for a proper internship we are supposed to prepare for ourselves and be ready with the resume for the opportunity

Placement Experience

The placement here is very decent to start with and 3rd year students get chances for internship in mnc's but 4th year students after completion of btech degree and many companies like phonepe qualcomm...

Fees and Financial Aid

Tution fee for college is 150000, it increases by 3-4% every year and fee for SC/ST is zero and also pwd is zero. There are many scholarship available for the students based on caste, merit, and income.

Campus Life

Yes, you get a nice exposure and interaction with seniors by the help of clubs and committees the events organized by them opens a social link of a student with others and talking about infrastructure it is not great.

Hostel Facilities

The hostels here are decent, the facilities are upto mark but the maintenance and food taste is not good so the hostels here can be opted for the price they offer for a year and you have a good friend circle too

Admission

I would say i was getting better college than this but not the branch which i preferred and the main reason was that it is very near to my hometown enabling easy and affordable transportation facilities.

Faculty

The faculty is sufficient for students and the marking scheme is easy. It is easy to maintain a high CGPA as marking scheme is easy but exams are conducted on very small gap which is a problem otherwise it is pretty good.

Night Life

Hostelers are restricted to stay in their respective college after 9 pm so i would rather say there's no night life over here but during events organized by clubs you get chance to enjoy nights with friends.

The campus placements are decent, average package is somewhere around 10-11 LPA and lowest around 4 LPA where are the highest is around 65 LPA. around 70% of students get placed through campus placement. As this is an NIT, there are many intership opportunity and stipend varis from 10,000-35,000 per month. Companies like Adobe, AMD, Intel, Microsoft provide intership opportunities in this college and over 20% students get properly paid internships

Placement Experience:

Collage provides the best placements in the whole chattishgar, it is one of the few collages in the whole country which have a dedicated drone learning ecosystem. In the 2020-2024 session averge placement is around 11.6 LPA, with the higest pakage of 34LPA and lowest of 3.6LPA. Accourding to ratio of eligible candidate and placed candidate, 9-0 percent of then get placed. Not only the placements, collage also helps in finding internships as well.

Some major points where NIT Raipur stands out over the other colleges. It's Placements, being an NIT it's decent enough for anyone choosing a college in a peaceful and affordable city like Raipur. It's Alumni connections, that make the college foundation really strong. The Student Culture is really good for personal growth, for someone who is still figuring out his/her career NIT RR could be a really good college for them.
