- CCET is often referred as IIT if Chattisgarh as it's classy and have academics same like them.
- Besides normal studies, skills development and research are also incorporates in our studies at CCET.
- Recently tech fests have also been incorporated in our college and from last year onwards students of other colleges are also invited.
Dislikes
- Exposure provided is little less and that's an issue which should be solved at the earliest.
Course Curriculum Overview
At our college CSE is too class as practicals and research have been incorporated so well that we never feel the need for having anything else as these consumed us more than ever. Exams are monthly as all of them are added in final scores in each semester.
Placement Experience
Microtex, HCL, Wipro and many other IT companies gives us research projects and also their work as well. So, we basically have indirectly worked for them and the ones they feel can add more to their organization comes with a clear mind and take us with a package that we expect them to. So, placements are purely on performance as those who perform well are given best of placements.
Fees and Financial Aid
CCET Bhilai is an excellent name or a brand name when it comes to engineering. I have availed SC reservation benefits and therefore I pay 60000 a year as I get 40% scholarships. Otherwise the actual fees is one lakh for general category student's.
Campus Life
Our annual fest Symphonia has a different theme every year and students are invited to manage the event too. So managerial skills are also tested and sports facilities are also exceptional. Campus is spread in 17+ acres and has greenery like never before. We also have gymnastics and gym inside our campus and to eat some, we have two canteens as well.
Hostel Facilities
Our hostel rooms are superb as I live in a three seater room as I need more people by my side. The washrooms are common but are very clean and we get RO water to drink. The mess also maintains good hyegiene and therefore the food served is fresh and tasty.
Admission
Admissions are online on the basis of JEE Mains counselling. Also MPSEE score are considered and we are given enough head room on 12th score as well. For SC or other reserved students the criteria is slightly lesser and that has made admissions very easy for us.
Faculty
If you get Computer Science and Engineering then I don't think you crave for anything else but CSE. Also, all the computer labs have been updated with Mac and the kab is also renamed as MAC labs. Machine learning sessions are weekly and this is how learning is done here. Our faculties are adept in teaching all of this as all are contemporary and have adopted the same method as well.
Night Life
For Historians there's Arjuna and an art gallery. Sundays we have free entries in this cafe and most Sunday noons are spent there. We are all coffee lovers and the cafe that has made us addicted to coffee is More Over Coffee which is at a walkable distance from our college.
