Remarks

This college was among the top colleges of Bhilai, many students came from other states to pursue graduation here, the faculty was of high quality and so was the infrastructure. The number of students getting selected in campus interviews was very good Abe that inspired me to get admission here.

Course Curriculum Overview

Computer science was my primary interest and was always interested in programming and coding, they were 15 to 20 faculties only for computer science branch alone including lecturers, professors, HOD and lab faculties. Almost all faculties were at least having an M.Tech in computer science engineering or having a doctorate in any of the IT technologies or girls. The internal term exams were difficult to score and played a great part in preparing us for the main University exams.

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 28000 per year

Placement Experience

Students behind eligible from 3rd-year 6th semester onwards for campus placements and multiple MNCs visit every year in search of quality talent among all batches for a perfect fit. 90 percent of students got placed from our college, online as well as offline.

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees were very nominal and students from poor families got a lot of concession too, there was no home in fees during my batch, as soon as I completed my graduation I got placed in Hewlett Packard as a permanent associate software developer with a salary of 4.5 lakhs per annum initially.

Campus Life

The campus visited of students from almost all states of India and it helped me understand different cultures all together and now I have friends almost everywhere no matter where I go, it is a very diverse campus, classrooms were very spacious with good quality benches and desks, cleanly maintained everyday and good visibility of lectures even to backbenches. Every year twice events like annual day and code competitions were conducted like hackathons and sports tournaments which mostly will be inter College.

Placement Experience:

Placements are offered, companies come to college to offer placement, but obviosuly not all students get placed, Only handful of students get placed at good package of around 6~9 LPA And many get normal mass hiring jobs at TCS of 2~3 LPA

Course Curriculum Overview:

Currently in 1st yr so I have not explored much. But my inner feeling says I am in the right place and in the right branch. There are so many club and community which gives us a real world applications. Course curriculum and teaching method are good Classes are of 50min.It starts from 9 to 12:20 then from 2 to 5:20 . Morning timing is generally lab and evening theory classes

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible for campus placements from 3rd year.If you need any information regarding the placements you can visit the college official website,there will be a list of companies visited the college in a particular year and statistics of the placements. The average pacakage is about 9LPa for chemical engineering.It will be differed when it comes to CSE,IT .THe highest package this year(2024) is about 53lpa . Many of the students will get job offers during the campus itself and few people remain jobless and they get prepare for off-campus and few opt for higher studies. Almost 80-90 percent gets placed in the college itself irrespective of the branch.

Remarks:

The College is the only Institute of its kind in Chhattisgarh. It has an average infrastructure and the campus is small in size. There are many few colleges in-country offering b.tech in dairy technology, the admission process is very simple and also the fees is very cheap as compared to any other colleges, the professors are well qualified and they provide overall a good environment for study.

Remarks:

The college was established in 2009 and is therefore still growing. The staff and facilities are working very hard to create exceptions and achievements. As the college is comparatively new from others. Therefore, more hard work can be seen in the part of faculties. This gives students studying now a great advantage to learn and gain more.

Remarks:

Positives of College- Very good faculties, well established Laboratories, a lot of opportunities for extra curricular activities and Sports is an important part of college. Negatives- attendance system is to be modified, Some books in library are very old, hostel doesn't provide Breakfast.

Superb college curriculum

Remarks:

Overall my experience with the College is super and hastily developing, in the last few years we have wide-ranging face-lift of our precincts. Our laboratories are enhanced, courses are now at good standard. We have discrete catalogue center. Infrastructures and channels are decent. Hostels are also beneath revamp. Our institution is waged at quick bound.

CCET makes you cautious!!

NIT Trichy and MANIT Bhopal were the other two that I wanted but they have a three year MCA program so I think it was destined that I become a good engineer in short space. CCET Bhilai is top!!

IIIT Bhilai was the one where I tried my hands but I also gave PET which is mandatory to get admission here. Just 600 total seats for engineering and over 25k studnets gave. So the acceptance ratio is just 2% and for CSE even lesser....Read More
