IIEST Shibpur is an excellent institute for courses in engineering, especially civil engineering. It is a well-established and well-known branch. There are several advantages of being in IIEST Shibpur and having a degree from the institute. My brother has studied there and the points below are his experience at the institute: There are excellent faculties in the Civil engineering department, except a couple of faculties who are not that great as evident from student reviews. There are innumerous projects and researches going on in the Civil engineering department at IIEST. The teachers and lecturers are excellent in their guidance for students interested in project works and show a lot of enthusiasm in the same. Above all, IIEST has gained central status a few years back, which ensures the development in research and teaching methodologies even further with time. Therefore, Civil engineering at IIEST is definitely a great choice for students, maybe even better than NIT Raipur in certain areas.

Why you should NOT choose NIT RAIPUR

The college has good library and course releated books which helps students study easily. Also the lend books for one month of time.

The academic feess for the year is more likely compared to every other engineering college in India. It's equal and we have fee relaxation for certain categories. If we pay late fees we have to tell the exact reason for it and they will wait for the payment.

NIT raipur things

the tution is too high for the students even more than private collage fees in chhattisgarh. the national scholarship portal gives scholarship of very amount. the no of guards in college campus is about 200 which is good.

NITRR- A STUDENT'S PERSPECTIVE

Recently, there hasn't been an increase in tuition fees at my institution. For odd semesters, the tuition fee is set at 72,000 INR, while for even semesters, it's 63,000 INR. Students belonging to reserved categories receive benefits in terms of fee concessions. Specifically, those from SC, ST, and OBC categories only have to pay 15,000 INR per semester. Moreover, some students in these categories are eligible for a scholarship of 11,000 INR.

The Overall experience of NIT Raipur.

In the NIT Raipur the fees structure depends upon your category as well as your income .if you are a general student then your fee will be vary where you from 100000 to 2.5 lakh but in case of OBC student your fees will be very from for income less than 100000 it is 10000 and for t 1 lakh to 5 lakh it is 50000 sa me for st and sc students. In the college for the Chhattisgarhi status student CG Post matric scholarship provided and also there are various scholarship schemes in the college which are provided for the student who are bright in studies also they are various foundation which give the scholarship on the professional courses so there the student can get this scholarships.

when we talk about fee structure in our collage that is depend upon the annual famiily income iif your family income is more than 5 lakh then you have to pay full tution fee like 74000 pper semester and for 1lakh to 5 lakh you have to pay 45000 anually and for the below 1 lakh you have to full tution fee relaxation scholship like post matric and nsp will be here here campuss employment oppertunity is very much better like more than 50 compenies visiting every year in our collage with good average package

Since I am a general student and I had no fee compensation possibility I have to pay 1 lakh and 40000 rupees per year and 72000 per semester approx if you are from general and general EWS SC or OBC or St student you have to pay very less money that is around 12000 for the entire 1 year so you will be completing your B.tech in entire around 50000 rupees there are many scholarships in our college which is on the basis of your merits or on the basis of your financial condition you can take advantage of those scholarships easily if you are from the poor family you can apply for this scholarship and you will get the amount of money for your financial assistance. Scholarship like NSP has proven to be so helpful for the students. they nearly get around 1 lakh 20 thousand rupees in this.

I got a scholarship from my state government. And I also I belong to below 1 lakh income in year so I got a some benefits from college . So my fees is 15,600 in 1st year and 10,800 in 2nd year .this is same for sc and st student But for general student it is so costly like 1,50,000 approx . About 20,000 is other cost we have to spend in our personal use like room rent stationary books notes and any other expenses.
