Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum design is good as compared to other colleges in Chhattisgarh, as it is an institute of national importance, there are good lab facilities and scope for the students to focus on the practical approaches rather than just on theory.
Internships Opportunities
The college provides internship opportunities to the deserving students. Many it as well as core companies provide internship opportunities to the students. The shortlisting of the students is mainly done on the basis of their cpi.
Placement Experience
Placement opportunities in our college are really good. Many big it companies like Adobe, ZS- associates, Capgemini, cognizant, Goldman sachs etc along with core companies like JSW, JSPL, Vedanta, Mahindra etc also arrive for providing placement opportunities to the students. In our branch, this year, the placement percentage was more than 95% and the average package was around 8 lakhs per annum.
Fees and Financial Aid
The total fees for 4 years is around 550000. Tution fee waivers are available for students belonging to various categories based on annual family income and also based on caste. 100% tution fee waiver is given to students with annual family income less than 1 lakh and students with income less than 6 lakhs are also given waiver. Scholarships are provided by the government and also by the college.
Campus Life
The overall campus life is good. There are many clubs and committees for the students to join or to be a part of. These clubs provide opportunities to the students to follow their interests and passions such as singing, dancing, leadership, entrepreneurship etc. there are also good sports facilities
Admission
Admission is based on the Jee mains score. Cutoff varies every year, the cutoff for my course at the time of my admission was around 110k in csab round for obc- NCL candidates. After the counselling, institute reporting is to be done where document varification and fee payment is done.
Faculty
The faculty members are highly qualified and are really good in terms of research. In terms of teaching also, most faculties are good and are supportive & helpful in nature. If you pay attention to what they are teaching, you may understand all concepts.
