Panjab University Chandigarh Reviews on Placements, Faculty and Facilities

I did bachelor of commerce from the same college and scored very good marks and learnt so much things from my respective teachers. Then I realised that if I will do post graduation then definitely from this college.

I am pursuing masters and i got to know that my friends who did bachelor's got their placement even after degree. My plan is to become lecturer and i even got internship in masters second semester which they provides me with proper knowledge of accounts and i also get paid for it. The placements percentage is about 97%,which is extremely good.

As i am interested in commerce thats why i chose bcom hons in management studies due to merit i git admission in that collehe also i was top amongest all colleges under panjab University chandigarh, their was semester wise exams , unit tests , practical exposure also i am pursuing mcom from university itself correspondence as i m also pursuing company secretary. But only bcom hons cannot get me job thats why everbody is doing something like ca , cs , cma proffesional courses or banking , finances etc. College should provide internships opportunities , job placements etc they should do more work on that , only for graduation purposes everybody is doing it.

The eligibility criteria for applying in any placement conducted by various companies in Meher Chand Mahajan dav college for women sector 36 Chandigarh is final year students of mcm college and pass out students

I have choosen this course because i have done bcom and i have to do masters so mcom is a better option . In this course student ratio is also very less so its better to communicate with teachers and students also.. Qualification for this course is must graduation done. Teaching method ia very superb of this college . Timely exams are after 6 months and its not so much diffucilt to pass out the exams because teaching is very good..

The course is very good I.E Mcom. Also, the faculty members are very cooperative in the college. The student and faculty ratio is also justifiable. The exam duration was also as told by the university norms

Because i already did the graduation from this college B.com and after that i applied for M.com A student and faculty ratio is 10:45 All teachers are very good qualities and when you need help from teacher they always help you anytime. All termr exam are before every semester exam. If you paas the term exam you paas the final exam.

There is a job fest which is been conducted by the college every year and students from the 4th semester can apply for it. In that, all the interested students can apply for the companies they are interested in like HDFC, LIC, Vidhya Jyoti educational society, etc and give good offers to the students according to their interviews and with the best of my knowledge Around 70-80% of the students gets placed every year with a package of 2-5 lakh, as for me I am looking to go abroad after my degree for my job.

After 3rd semester the students are eligible for the campus placements and got opportunities to showcase their talents in the various campus placement drives. Average packages are around 5 lakhs. Around 60% students get jobs in the reputed companies like Deloitte, HP etc.

College students are eligible from the 6th semester for the placement activities and all are eligible in placement processes according to their specialities Very big company also visited our campus for the placement drive like amzon, ICICI, axis bank,EY etc etc There is no minimum percentage for placement, average students also get placed if he or she has the relevant skills which company needs
