Relevant information about the college

To seek admission to my college, students have to clear all the criteria mentioned by the Panjab University, Chandigarh on their website. If one has completed his bachelor's with honors then they can enjoy the 15% reservation benefit for taking honors the admission process is based on cut off and you can get admission in any affiliated college of Punjab University according to the cutoff and the cutoff is on the basis of the score of your bachelor degree and if you want to take admission in bachelor degree than your 12th score were considered for admission.

After bachelor's if students want to go for the teaching line or any government sector then M.com is definitely for them. All the teaching faculty of the college is very understanding and helpful you can ask your doubts after the class with your concerned teacher. All the master students are supposed to give presentations on the given topics from the syllabus which makes them ready for their future exams and helps in learn fast the semester exams are conducted every gap of 6 months and the mid-sem are conducted with the duration of 3 months and from my experience, mid sem are easy to pass and semester exam is also easy if you have listened well in the lecture.

I don't know much about the internships offered by the companies through my college as I personally have not heard about any. Only once did my teacher told us about the Internshala app about which everyone already knows and with my knowledge there is no stipend given in the project but you can gain experience by doing an internship outside the college.

There is a job fest which is been conducted by the college every year and students from the 4th semester can apply for it. In that, all the interested students can apply for the companies they are interested in like HDFC, LIC, Vidhya Jyoti educational society, etc and give good offers to the students according to their interviews and with the best of my knowledge Around 70-80% of the students gets placed every year with a package of 2-5 lakh, as for me I am looking to go abroad after my degree for my job.

This is a government college which is under Panjab University, Chandigarh and that is why the fees for the course are very reasonable and students can easily avail the course. The college doesn't provide any kind of job in the college and but you can do an internship outside the college and also avail a job of 8 hours which you can easily manage and also you can earn money by tuition.

The college supports cultural festivals a lot therefore it conducts a lot of fests to celebrate them. The library is very big and almost every book is available in the library and you can also issue them for 2-3 with your library card and there is a book market near the campus if you want to purchase them, There are many games in the college like basketball, volleyball, and an inter-college match is also conducted and there are also several dance clubs in the college and also has NSS and NCC clubs. And each club has its own social group run by students so that they can inform all the students about the activities being conducted by the college.
