Course Curriculum Overview

Masters in Commerce involves the master level program that teaches commerce, finance and banking to the students above all other related subjects. The curriculum is wholesome and the exams are conducted in proper intervals.

Placement Experience

We have some job opportunities provided to us by our college. They have some companies connected to their placement cell who visit our college for recruiting students every year. We also get some internships from outside the college.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fees for each year is 34,300 rupees which I believe is okay considering the comfort of distance learning. It is feasible since we are provided with all the material and guides at our doorsteps and also the exam system is very accommodating.

Campus Life

We have many events in our college. We have many seminars and workshops. There are also cultural events conducted frequently. We also have student conducted parties and events like freshers and farewell.

Admission

I had to appear for the PU USOL Admission test. The performance in the test determined the selections which were then finalized by interviews. After the entrance test I just had to submit all the required documents and pay the fees.

We are provided with good faculty in our college. All the lectures are trained and qualified individuals with good prior experience in the teaching field. They answer all our queries and help us with our projects.

Success story

Placement Experience:

I am pursuing masters and i got to know that my friends who did bachelor's got their placement even after degree. My plan is to become lecturer and i even got internship in masters second semester which they provides me with proper knowledge of accounts and i also get paid for it. The placements percentage is about 97%,which is extremely good.

College and worth it

Course Curriculum Overview:

As i am interested in commerce thats why i chose bcom hons in management studies due to merit i git admission in that collehe also i was top amongest all colleges under panjab University chandigarh, their was semester wise exams , unit tests , practical exposure also i am pursuing mcom from university itself correspondence as i m also pursuing company secretary. But only bcom hons cannot get me job thats why everbody is doing something like ca , cs , cma proffesional courses or banking , finances etc. College should provide internships opportunities , job placements etc they should do more work on that , only for graduation purposes everybody is doing it.

Great Campus of SD

Placement Experience:

After 3rd semester the students are eligible for the campus placements and got opportunities to showcase their talents in the various campus placement drives. Average packages are around 5 lakhs. Around 60% students get jobs in the reputed companies like Deloitte, HP etc.

College students are eligible from the 6th semester for the placement activities and all are eligible in placement processes according to their specialities Very big company also visited our campus for the placement drive like amzon, ICICI, axis bank,EY etc etc There is no minimum percentage for placement, average students also get placed if he or she has the relevant skills which company needs

Review about my college

Remarks:

College is good after all I am studying in this college. Girls Common room is made for the girls. The washrooms are clean and hygienic. The negative is that no clocks and projectors are there in classes.

As I said, it is the finest college of the city with no complaints at all. Cant really say enough words to praise the college. It was excellent in all aspects, library, ramp, rooms, board rooms, teachers, students everything was great.

Good to go for this University

Since I am pursuing my BCom from us. So getting admission is quite easy you need not pass any entrance test and the admission process is totally online the minimum criteria to get admission for the BCom is 45% in your 12th examination. All the queries related to the examination whether it's application fees application form application dates can be found on the official website of USOL. Yes, there are reservation benefits Since I am from the general category I did not get that benefit but if you are the one who is from another category rather than general you can get a discount for the minimum fees. The sincentile process is online so I don't think it is any neat to change when it comes admission process....Read More

Honest review of USOL panjab university

I'm studying in 2nd year of BA in USOL and I can tell you the good and bad things about USOL then, Good:- this is an open university so you can study for any government exams like UPSC SSC and many more. The USOL gives you one-week offline classes for covering the syllabus and you can easily pass in your course. BAD:- I think there are not any bad things in this institute. Admission process:- There's an official website of the USOL for admission. You can easily register on there and fill the admission form and take admission. After that, you can do your payment online or post office and bank draft after your payment you need to go the university for face to face verification then you got admission in this open university. Reason for preferring this college:- you can study full time on your dream jobs like IAS bank PO SSC and many more.
