Course Curriculum Overview

The course curriculum is okay. It is designed keeping in mind that it is a distance course so many of the students will be self-reliant for studies. However, it is still very good and covers all the necessary subjects required to score good education.

Placement Experience

There are no placement opportunities available for the University of Distance Learning itself. The degree itself is good for those who are already working, have their own business or are unable to attend full time college due to some other reason. Their are job orientations workshops and seminars that are held, however.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure is a little high when compared to other distance learning courses, but the trade-off is that we get two full-time associate professors that are available for us. The fee for all three years is 40,000 rupees and has to be paid together at the start of the course.

Campus Life

This is a distance learning course so extracurricular are not part of the college activities. We can however attend different club meetings and participate in the same. There are some good clubs in the campus which eagerly accept members.

Admission

The admission process is extremely simple. It just involves submission of an online form and documentation such as 12th Mark-sheet, Passing Certificate etc. There are affiliated centres if any queries come up.

There are 2 faculty members assigned to us. They are available full time and are exclusively available to help the students out. They are both well qualified and experienced and are always willing to listen.

Learning and Growth at PGGC-11

Placement Experience:

The students can sit for placements in their final year of course. The tricity based companies come for campus placements for jobs that need strong communication skills and basic knowledge of their domain. The maximum package that was offered goes up to 5 LPA, and the average packages are lower than this arounf 3 LPA. I wanted to go for Post Graduation so did not opt for campus placement.

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible for placement from 6th semester onwards most of the big companies do visit our campus like apple Flipkart Microsoft Google airbus and most of the big companies come in our placement I package for electrical branch in 2025 was 52 lpa and the average median package remained about 13 LPA for2025 the data isn't out yet but typically 72to 75 percent students get placed in my branch my plans after the degree is to get a stable corporate job of 18+lpa

Course Curriculum Overview:

1. Flexibility of course and type it has to be done . For further academic pursuits definitely yes but for real world application as of now except computer application there is no real world application of this as of physics it is more derivation type topic is covered in the first semester as of now. I course should be designed to prepare for real world application not the old school craming and derivation type. Exam happen twice a year in april and in novembor-december and of moderate level

Review for MCA in PU

Placement Experience:

The placement process is began and ended only in third semester as forth semester is for internship. Mostly the companies from tricity visits here like edifecs, chicmic, inno8 etc. MCA students from PU Chandigarh, regional center (Hoshiarpur and Muktsar) students and MSC students sit together for the placements. The highest package from last year was 17 LPA and this year till date is 7.25 LPA. Average package is 4LPA.

My Honest Review for P.U.

Placement Experience:

The semester in which students are eligible for campus placements vary from department to department. In my course, students are eligible for campus placements in their 3rd semester. For the 2022-24 batch, 17 companies visited the department for placement which includes American express, josh, mediatek and more tri City companies. The highest package was offered to a student by mediatek of 17 lpa. 63 % of the students gets placed from previous batch. I am planning to get a descent placement after the degree.

This college is the best college in northern punjab. Also my house is near to this college.The placement for nurses are best. Education is best quality. Best practical knowledge. Good to go for this University

Since I am pursuing my BCom from us. So getting admission is quite easy you need not pass any entrance test and the admission process is totally online the minimum criteria to get admission for the BCom is 45% in your 12th examination. All the queries related to the examination whether it's application fees application form application dates can be found on the official website of USOL. Yes, there are reservation benefits Since I am from the general category I did not get that benefit but if you are the one who is from another category rather than general you can get a discount for the minimum fees. The sincentile process is online so I don't think it is any neat to change when it comes admission process....Read More

Honest review of USOL panjab university

I'm studying in 2nd year of BA in USOL and I can tell you the good and bad things about USOL then, Good:- this is an open university so you can study for any government exams like UPSC SSC and many more. The USOL gives you one-week offline classes for covering the syllabus and you can easily pass in your course. BAD:- I think there are not any bad things in this institute. Admission process:- There's an official website of the USOL for admission. You can easily register on there and fill the admission form and take admission. After that, you can do your payment online or post office and bank draft after your payment you need to go the university for face to face verification then you got admission in this open university.
