Remarks

The college has a good campus life. It works towards the overall development of the students. It also manages to uplift the students socially and economically. It is one of the reputed colleges in the punjab.

Course Curriculum Overview

It?s an undergraduate course for three years. The course is structured in a systematic manner considering all the aspects of Arts field. It shapes the student?s career by providing knowledge in different subjects.

Placement Experience

I am still in the second year of my college so I don?t have much idea about the placement. As heard from the seniors, the placement procedure is flexible and well planned. There are job opportunities available after graduating from the college.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure is apparently inexpensive as compared to other colleges in punjab. It costs upto Rs. 74,570 for the three year course. It can be paid semester wise which doesn?t cause the burden of payment at once.

Campus Life

The college holds a good record for sports. There are students who have represented the college at national level in various sports. There are cultural activities that takes place occasionally for the students.

Alumni/Alumna

The college holds a good connection with it?s alumni network. They visit the college at special events. Even the seniors are good and they?re very helpful. They are friendly and never trouble us. We all enjoy their company.

Admission

The college conducts the admission test which is PU USOL admission test. It comprises of four sections namely data interpretation, general english, verbal ability and numeric ability. Once I qualified the exam, I went for counselling and got my documents verified. Finally I got enrolled in the college.

Faculty

The faculty?s work is satisfactory and they create positive impact in our lives. They are well qualified and conducts the class regularly. They have been working in the college for many years and thus possess a lot of experience.

PEC life in a nutshell

Course Curriculum Overview:

I am in first year and first year is same for all branches, so I don't know a lot about electrical engineering specifically. But of what I have heard from seniors, electrical branch is more difficult, and in pec u get not that many core companies. While u get a lot of finance, IT, coding etc companies.

Inside of PGI chandigarh from bsc nursing point of view.

Placement Experience:

Students from 4rth year are eligible for placement. Pgi provide job for it's own students. Bond system is here. Students can apply for foreign jobs as pgi provide their degree and a sheet with completed number of hours as in clinical we need 100% attendance. Students who don't want to work in pgi can go to different hospitals as pgi is a recognized university they will get job easily. 80% students get job in pgi. As many new blocks are building here for future, they will require large amount of nursing officers so they will give job to their own university students. Some senior got their job with a high amount as salary with health benefits, hostel allowanc, travel allowance, and tax is included. Working hour are less here, people can switch there shifts with there workmates as per there convince. My plan is to work here as a nursing officer and do my master degree from pgi itself.

Since I am the first year right now, I don't have data to support the placement record, but some of my seniors of fourth year are getting placed. Course Curriculum Overview:

Application for this college is easy process. You just need to fill a form from dhe.chd.gov.in for which you have to pay very nominal fee ( i paid 70rs in 2023). Teaching methods are okay.likr there's so such thing that college is in Chandigarh so better teachers or something.

Since I am pursuing my BCom from us. So getting admission is quite easy you need not pass any entrance test and the admission process is totally online the minimum criteria to get admission for the BCom is 45% in your 12th examination. All the queries related to the examination whether it's application fees application form application dates can be found on the official website of USOL. Yes, there are reservation benefits Since I am from the general category I did not get that benefit but if you are the one who is from another category rather than general you can get a discount for the minimum fees. I'm studying in 2nd year of BA in USOL and I can tell you the good and bad things about USOL then, Good:- this is an open university so you can study for any government exams like UPSC SSC and many more. The USOL gives you one-week offline classes for covering the syllabus and you can easily pass in your course. BAD:- I think there are not any bad things in this institute. Admission process:- There's an official website of the USOL for admission. You can easily register on there and fill the admission form and take admission. After that, you can do your payment online or post office and bank draft after your payment you need to go the university for face to face verification then you got admission in this open university.
