For taking admission in a university school of open learning Panjab University Chandigarh there were not any specific requirements but we have to paas in 12th there was not any admission test for admission in USOL.
Course Curriculum Overview
As I am a commerce student as well as I am doing CA so I selected to do BCom from USOL as it has fewer restrictions than regular college as discussed classes there were 7days classes in which important topics was covered by well-qualified educator and also USOL gives us the opportunity to give feedback on classes If we take about papers USOL students only give main semester paper there was not any practical or mst for Bcom internal assessment Mark are based on the mark of theory or main sem papers. And they also give notes to students for studies.
Fees and Financial Aid
Total fees for B.COM from around 50000-60000 without any scholarships but as per govt rules there were scholarships for sc/st/obc students of Punjab who have domicile of Punjab and if we take about campus placement every year there was campus placement in college each and every student are invited there in campus placement.
Campus Life
For USOL students there was a separate library in which there was a huge books collection for each and every student there were all books from all famous writers which can be issued to students for a month. There was also a sports meet for USOL students for their mental and physical fitness interesting students can participate in it in that we have to play different types of games and also the winner will we appreciate with prizes. There is also a social group and clubs run by students which can help other students.
