Entrance Preview
My admissions was done on the basis of marks scored in 12 th standard. As I had scored 80 percent marks I got admission on merit basis, as the seats are limited to 250 approx. This college is the best college in the city its comes under Punjab university which is recognized in entire world. So I was determined to get admission in this college and luckily I got the admission.
Internships Opportunities
Many companies come at the end of the year for campus placements. But I did not took part in it and neither of my friends did as we wanted to get post graduated and then look out for job. Whereas some our seniors doing masters degree got placed at different packages ranging from 400000 to 800000 per year. Which is quite good. But placements depend upon a person, s capabilities so a student needs to do good in his term in the college.
Placement Experience
Job opportunities are very good for a students who is focused and hard working. Many companies come by the end of the year for campus placements. A set od interview is designed for selecting students. Teachers also help out students to clear such interviews. Packages depend upon the capabilities of the student and the area he selects for working .
College Events
College celebrates many events like annual fest and annual sports meet in which students from different college unites at one place. Apart from this many events are organised by the students organisations which invipves singing dancing acting, many famous artist are also invited as chief guests who also perform in the events.
Fee Structure And Facilities
Fees structure of the college is very economical. They charge almost 10000rs per year for bachelors degree which very feasible. The hostel fees is not included in this, which also very economical. The fees increases marginally every year which is still one of the lowest in our area.
Fees and Financial Aid
I have not availed any scholarship, though my college does offer scholarship programs to students. There are many banks in the city which provide faculties for loan at market rates of interest.
Campus Life
Campus is always full of students. The atmosphere is always good. The college keeps organising various programs like annual fest and sports meet and some other competitions are also organised by the student organisations, ' the money raised by such tournaments is often used for different charity programs.
Exam Structure
Exams are held in September December and in april. Final exams on the year is in april. The schedule is not very hectic which is very helpful to a student. Student could do part time job or just enjoy his college without getting a hectic schedule. Although properly designed exams bring out the best from the student.
Faculty
Faculty of the college is top notch. They are very educated and experienced. They help you out in any ways so you could learn better. They keep you motivated. They are not very lineant and not too strict. They act as a perfect guide also.
