Course Curriculum Overview

The course is relevant and provides vast legal knowledge covering various course sources by creating a compilation of various sources into one. The curriculum prepares you to be pre prepared when doing a task to master it and frequent exams in different forms happen

Class Size: 43Course Fees: INR 1000000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

200000 per year for 2 semesters without hostel for ba llb and bba llb which is refundable in starting Upto 2-3 months approximately and there are no scholarship or reservation that i have in notice also

Campus Life

A clean well maintained high level infrastructure be it from classroom facilities to moot court facilities are provided with many student groups or clubs present to choose and participate in impacting in a good way on student life

Admission

I chose colleges near my home and best is nmims as there is less show off and high lay off on the amount and time invested as you study rather than just party which doesn't mean you don't see various events we do see events but effective ones and I gave an online exam and scored a seat in nmims Chandigarh

Faculty

The course structure is greatly designed to include both practical and contextual learning where regular tests in different form throughout the semester are taken with exams discussions sessions etc and exams are easy if you are a student who constantly understands things and fairness level is high as the proper discrete checking system is followed

Night Life

Hostel currently is separate from college but college provides comfortable transport and hostels have gym too where college has labs badminton room pool tabe tabe tennis room etc to get mind refreshed

UILS Student Review

Course Curriculum Overview:

The option of choosing Major Minor subjects, at the end all of which is relevant in the field of law may it be sociology, English, history, economics etc. To prepare for the real world, work on studying law subjects with more emphasis and dedication, and in every sem here for the initial yeard of this 5 year course, atleast 2-3 law subjects are there.

Life at UILS PANJAB UNIVERSITY

Course Curriculum Overview:

Curriculum is good and has both good and bad sides.Good thing is that the Curriculum is inclusive and covers all aspects in their entirety. Moreover the students also have subjects like moot court and nukkad natak in 5th year which improves their practical skills. One more thing is that though the Curriculum does not give practical knowledge as much in initial years of the degree but the gap is filled by the societies of the department like moot court society and adr ccl board etc. There is good balance between ba subjects and law subjects as uils offers a combined course.

Journey of a lawyer in UILS

Placement Experience:

From 9th semester students are eligible for campus placements as such companies do not come very often but on your CV a government University like PU provides a serious advantage over other private colleges as heard from seniors lowest package is 4 lakhs and highest is 10 lakhs there is no fixed percentage of students getting placements are most of them who get apply privately to law firms my plan is to go in corporate law in an mnc firm.
