College and worth it

As i am interested in commerce thats why i chose bcom hons in management studies due to merit i git admission in that collehe also i was top amongest all colleges under panjab University chandigarh, their was semester wise exams , unit tests , practical exposure also i am pursuing mcom from university itself correspondence as i m also pursuing company secretary. But only bcom hons cannot get me job thats why everbody is doing something like ca , cs , cma proffesional courses or banking , finances etc. College should provide internships opportunities , job placements etc they should do more work on that , only for graduation purposes everybody is doing it.

As a commerce student my college did not provide that much internship jos only like sales executive etc. Students as part time income did telle calling jobs wtc to earn some money side by side by studying . The expectations we were having for a jobs is not provided.

I have done my bcom hons in 2020 - 2023 from post graduate govt college, sector 11 D Chandigarh .my yearly fees was around 24000 it was semester wise half of it in each semester including registeration etc. But sc st gets extra quota on the basis of merit .we got into college from merit basis but sc st students who got less % also got admission in our college and i got scholorship on merit basis my yearly scholorship was 10000 and in final year it was around 12000 . But our college provides scholorship on income criteria, category wise , sports quota and other cultural availability. Etc

Yes colleges or universities have get into various cultural activities like dance , skit , singing and other skills etc. But it depends on person to person some of them are interested in participation as it leads into prizes, trophies , cash prizes , certificates in extra curriculum activities. Some of them only rely on college books or studies. But it provides hostel ,libraries and reading room where we can consistently or do focused studies. Have social life pike friends we can experience freshers , farwell etc.

For college admission in chandigarh it took you on merit basis by filing form and cut off according to your marks and ut quota , that is if yiu have done 12 th from chandigarh you get extra% higher chances of getting into college early . Otherwise it solely depends on your marks higher the narks higher cut off and good college. For university admission that is Pu for this you need to crack entrance exam for your course in that particular course. But admission criteria is simple everything is online . But in university admission we have to submit our documents in hard copy . Also sc st or other categories get extra benefits like lowest marks still get admission in higher cut off college. The difficulty level of exam is moderate.

Faculty to student ratio is 1:1 , like teachers are very friendly, easy going their teaching methods , techniques are up to mark except some teachers , they are more like friends not strict kind off , sometimes they explain practically by smart class , labs , group discussion etc. We can point out oir doubt anytime in lectures or otherwise we can ask them any time.
