Remarks

I applied for this college only and got admission at first stance itself. The minimum marks required are around 65% to get admission in this college for doing the masters degree. The admission process was very smooth and hassle-free. There was proper guidance on what to do at the next step at every stage by the old students.

Course Curriculum Overview

I chose this college for this course as it is one of the most reputed colleges in the city. The faculty student ratio is appropriate and each student get the required attention from the teachers. The faculty is well versed with their subjects and are very supportive of the students. The examination is conducted from time to time and it's not easy at all to pass those.

Class Size: 1Course Fees: INR 30000 per year

Placement Experience

After 3rd semester the students are eligible for the campus placements and got opportunities to showcase their talents in the various campus placement drives. Average packages are around 5 lakhs. Around 60% students get jobs in the reputed companies like Deloitte, HP etc.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees is quite more when compared to the course but the services provided by the college overcomes that drawback also. Fee hike is around 5%. Financial aid is also available for those students who have not much financial support but are the meritorious ones. Also, there are great opportunities for getting placed in the reputed companies.

Campus Life

The on-campus life is amazing as there are proper amenities available at the Canteen, Cafe's. Timely fests, competitions are conducted to encourage participation from students and enhance their creative skills. Each classroom is well lit and ACs are also there. Different socities like Gender Sensitisation are there run by the students in the college.

Success story

Placement Experience:

I am pursuing masters and i got to know that my friends who did bachelor's got their placement even after degree. My plan is to become lecturer and i even got internship in masters second semester which they provides me with proper knowledge of accounts and i also get paid for it. The placements percentage is about 97%,which is extremely good.

College and worth it

Course Curriculum Overview:

As i am interested in commerce thats why i chose bcom hons in management studies due to merit i git admission in that collehe also i was top amongest all colleges under panjab University chandigarh, their was semester wise exams , unit tests , practical exposure also i am pursuing mcom from university itself correspondence as i m also pursuing company secretary. But only bcom hons cannot get me job thats why everbody is doing something like ca , cs , cma proffesional courses or banking , finances etc. College should provide internships opportunities , job placements etc they should do more work on that , only for graduation purposes everybody is doing it.

College students are eligible from the 6th semester for the placement activities and all are eligible in placement processes according to their specialities Very big company also visited our campus for the placement drive like amzon, ICICI, axis bank,EY etc etc There is no minimum percentage for placement, average students also get placed if he or she has the relevant skills which company needs

I had to appear for the PU USOL Admission test. The performance in the test determined the selections which were then finalized by interviews. After the entrance test I just had to submit all the required documents and pay the fees.

Review about my college

Remarks:

College is good after all I am studying in this college. Girls Common room is made for the girls. The washrooms are clean and hygienic. The negative is that no clocks and projectors are there in classes.

I applied for 4 colleges from which one is my present college 2 is DAV college 3 is khalsa college and 4 is Panjab university. Elgibility was easy as people for any background rather say commerce , arts , non medical or medical . College doesnt have any entrance exam for admission.Students are admitted through centralized admission under DHE chandigarh.
