HONEST REVIEW BY OF GGDSD COLLEGE, CHANDIGARH BY A STUDENT

As of i know the ggdsd college of chandigarh is considered the best college in chandigarh, and their psychology program is really good and that's why i choose it. The curriculum prepares us in many ways, they organize different types of activities and they even tell us about interships and how to grab them. I don't think that the curriculum needs any type of improvement, it is quite good. I don't have any problem with the frequency and the timing of the exams and their difficulty is also on medium-hard level.

As of my course, there are many interships that are offered to me by my teachers but in my course that is BA PSYCHOLOGY HONOURS, the internships are mostly paid and that's a reason many students does not take internships here. I have been offerend 4 to 5 internships by my teachers and they were all paid (rs.3k to 5k). I haven't enrolled in any internship so i don't know much about the projects.

The fees of my course is quite affordable, it is around 28k to 30k per year and that is quite affordable i guess. The fees of a year is around 28k to 30k, the fees of exams is 3k each sem and that's it other than my own travelling expense,etc. I don't know about such scholarships or financial aid that are available to students. None.

Virasat in march,Biorythm in march,Panache in february,freshers party every year in the start of the session,etc. There are many books that are available to students in the library that are beneficial to students in every field, there is also a copy of the indian constitution present in the library, also the college has a offical drive link for the students that has tons of books available to read online other than the library. The classrooms are very simple and they need to be more modern, the classroom has fans, lights and a projector. What i can say is there are many opportunities for the students involved in sports, i have seen people that has competed in china from our college only. Many students are of state and national in our college. Yes, there are many clubs in our college, i have seen my friends that are part of literally 9 to 10 clubs at a time, even i am a member of 2 clubs and 1 Ngo, there are almost 10 to 12 clubs and 2 to 3 ngos in our college.students developmanyskills

Eligibiltity of my course was just on my 12th class's board percentage. You can find the application form, application fees and application dates on the official website of GGDSD COLLEGE, CHANDIGARH There are reservered seats for specific castes although i am from general category so i did not get any type of reservation. The exams are held every 5 to 6 months after the semester end. And they are held from 9:30am to 12:30pm and 2 pm to 5pm. I think the admission process does not need any type of improvement.

The faculty to student ratio is good, i don't know the exact numbers but it is quite good. The faculty's approach towards teaching and mentorship is really good, the teachers are very good and friendly. We can interact with our teacher whenever we want to, we just have to go to the staff room and just ask for their time, the teachers are very co-operative.
