Likes

The professors and the staff members are approachable
The campus is very clean and well maintained
All kinds of books are available in the library

Dislikes

The prices of canteen foods are not reasonable
Lack of official notice so we don't really aware of programs and events happening in college
There is not much facilities for curriculum

The syllabus are little bit outdated and there isn't much facilities for curriculum but they make really good used of the little curriculum that we have in college.We have one hour class which really help us to get more engaged with the teachers

Fees and Financial Aid

There are quite few numbers of scholarships and for the tuition fees it's quite reasonable and it's compulsory to pay for the library charges and also sometimes the college provides jobs for the students inside the campus

Many cultural events took place and there is also festivals celebrations. Events happens almost every month. There are Events lyk dance competition, extempore speech and also many seminar took place. And for every year Meraki, a college festival took place

It's admission is on the basis of merit.And there are reservation for students belonging to economically weaker sections. And the application form are available in the college website and you can also do it offline

The faculty members and the teachers are approachable and are quite helpful.They really listen to our problems and they even help in taking counseling.They really make the environment of the college joyful.Whenever in doubt they are always ready to help

The Best Life of PGGC-11

Placement Experience:

Obviously the placements are offered in the final year but due to the NEP 2020. Various interships are provided to the students of even first year ones. Companies like Airtel, Amazon India, BYJU's, HCL, IBM, Infosys, Wipro, etc have offered placements to the students in their companies. The average package students can expect is around 2-3 lakhs per annum and the highest package would be around 10-15 lakhs. The percentage of students getting placements varies from 5-7% only.

Course Curriculum Overview:

As of i know the ggdsd college of chandigarh is considered the best college in chandigarh, and their psychology program is really good and that's why i choose it. The curriculum prepares us in many ways, they organize different types of activities and they even tell us about interships and how to grab them. I don't think that the curriculum needs any type of improvement, it is quite good. I don't have any problem with the frequency and the timing of the exams and their difficulty is also on medium-hard level.
