Likes
- College infrastructure is very good. There is proper cleanliness in our college. All the faculty members are well maintained. Teachers are well educated according to their required degree.
- There are also placement opportunities are available. There is a proper placement cell.
- Campus Life is good. And also in account of social interaction it is great.
Dislikes
- Tables in some classes are bit small and little uncomfortable .
- There is restriction in hostel in time and out time. In time is just till 6p.m.
- Hostel fees is little more as compared to hostel infrastructure and facilities
Course Curriculum Overview
I had chosen this course because I am interested in doing management course further so I have done bcom. This collage provide very good study too. Student ratio is as expected. Members and staff is very good and cooperative.Term exams are done after 6 months and exams are not so much difficult to pass.
Fees and Financial Aid
The year wise college fees which I pay is 35000. There is collage processing fee that is 900 and hostel processing fee that is 850. Examination fees is 450. There is also fees for absentees whose attendance is less than 75%.There is a scholarship for next year which is on merit basis of previous year marks.
Campus Life
The most awaited and grand annual Event is Meraki. Which is like held every year. And many more events and festival events are organised very often. Every class has projector. Many sports and extracurricular activities are also available. There are many social groups and clubs are present in our college. But you get inn only after you pass interview.
Hostel Facilities
There are basically like different hostels one is like without AC and other is without AC. Fees of AC one's are bit high and also infrastructure is more imporved . The food is like of decent quality and menu is same during summer and winter. Registration process of hostel is online after your confirmation of admission. Fees of without AC rooms are 130000 and with AC is 150000. And also pg's are available near sector 36.
Admission
After passing school I wanted to take admission in MCM DAV College, Chandigarh so I applied in this collage I got admission after some time. Admission is on merit basis. Application form was found on dhe.chd.gov.in website . Application fees was very minimal. You had to check out the above mentioned website on regular basis.
Faculty
It didn't know about proper ratio but yes faculty is enough. And faculty members are very well maintained and are approachable.The best quality about college is that teacher are well educated and qualified. Yes teacher teaches very good. The thing which I didn't like is that teacher are qualified in one particular subject but they have also given some other subjects also. In bcom. Hons there are 7 subjects . It is like moderate if studied well. Like very less students fail.
Night Life
Basically hostel in time is 6p.m. And there is gym present in hostel. And library is also there. Cafeteria's are closed till 5p.m. and library till 6p.m. of college. And library of hostel is open 24 hours. Locality is also safe . And famous hangout places are like mostly every shop in sector 36 .
