Mehar Chand Mahajan College offers a variety of internship opportunities to enhance students' practical experience and employability. Students are encouraged to apply for internships through the college’s placement cell, which provides resources and guidance.

We have to pay 24000rs yearly according to my course which is BA in psychology. They take a registration fee of 900rs. The examination fees is included in the overall fees in the beginning. They also provide scholarship for students who score above a certain percentage.

The Camus life of college can be better in many aspects but still the present is also good. They have a few fests every now and then like the diwali fest, Holi fest, meharki fest in November. They also have a dance club that provides excellent entertainment. The library also has a great range of educational as well fictional novels. They provide a well lit environment with air conditioning in the Library. The college also has a basketball court and have small sports events every now and then. The college NCC and NSS groups are also very active.

I chose Mehar Chand Mahajan College for its strong academic reputation and supportive faculty. Compared to other colleges, it excels in personalized attention and offers a vibrant campus life. While other colleges had good programs, they lacked the same level of community engagement. I was accepted here after a straightforward admission process, which included an application review and an interview, making it a seamless experience. I was also accepted into Christ University Bangalore but chose this college because of its good reputation in my city. MCM DAV College releases its college forms during July end. They have a small registration fee and a straightforward form to fill. They release their merit list soon after. The admission process is quite direct and easy.

Some teachers are very good. Their teaching methods and approach is excellent. They go out of their way to help. They are very motivating and inspirational. Professors of the psychology department and English department are very good. But sociology department is a bit weak. They take one set of mid semester test each semester. They are very helpful and not very difficult. Can be easily passed if one puts in minimal effort.
