Course Curriculum Overview

3

the teaching method of the college is good, you have to study yourself also. we are provided with the facilities like library so we can study in that and have a good time studying. the teaching methods are good. we have our half yearly exams called mst and then final pu exams.

Fees and Financial Aid

the tuition fee is reasonable for the course im studying in and the fees did not increase from my first year till now. for the future I don't know anything but till now the fees hasn't been increased. there is no scholarships in the college and no campus employment.

Campus Life

4

the social life in the college is very good. there are a lot of clubs to join in the college and the clubs are genuine. there are also a lot of ngo's and other co-curricular activities present in the college. i myself personally have joined the NCC. the elections in the college also plays a vital role in socializing the students.

Hostel Facilities

1.5

The hostel facility is very bad. The money they are charging is way more than the facilities they provide. The food is also not so good. The hostel has 4 people in one room which is also not acceptable keeping in mind the fees. The warden is also not well behaved and the staff is also bad.

Admission

the admission process was quite smooth and the people of the college help you with this also. i had to fill a form and then i had to wait for the list to come and our admissions was on the basis of our 12th result. From my pov the admission process was smooth

Faculty

3.5

the faculty members are good, some of them keep a check on you and solve your problems in academics and the behaviour is also good of the teachers. the teachers are qualified also and they have good sense of humor.

Placement Experience:

Obviously the placements are offered in the final year but due to the NEP 2020. Various interships are provided to the students of even first year ones. Companies like Airtel, Amazon India, BYJU's, HCL, IBM, Infosys, Wipro, etc have offered placements to the students in their companies. The average package students can expect is around 2-3 lakhs per annum and the highest package would be around 10-15 lakhs. The percentage of students getting placements varies from 5-7% only.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is designed in a very organised manner so that the students can get knowlege from everywhere. The syllabus and study material are very crisp and to the point. But yes the university should give alittke bit more time for the preparation of the MST as they take place in consecutively 2 months which increases the difficulty level for the students

Course Curriculum Overview:

As of i know the ggdsd college of chandigarh is considered the best college in chandigarh, and their psychology program is really good and that's why i choose it. The curriculum prepares us in many ways, they organize different types of activities and they even tell us about interships and how to grab them. I don't think that the curriculum needs any type of improvement, it is quite good. I don't have any problem with the frequency and the timing of the exams and their difficulty is also on medium-hard level.
