Course Curriculum Overview

My course specifically is well made to make us professional for the industry. They Focus on practicality rather than theory. The curriculum is very well relevant to what we study The activities held help us gain confidence and make us industry ready professionals.

Class Size: 50Course Fees: INR 40000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees structure of GGDSD is quite affordable as none of the course charge above 60000. Bvoc course fees ranges between 30000 to 40000. Every year it increases by 10percent which is not alot The registration fees was only 1100 . They have a huge scholarship program where they are providing scholarship for many categories like SC, ST, etc. Upto 50 percent fee waiver can be claimed. My other friends are too paying somewhere between 30000 to 50000 for courses like Bcom and BBA.

Campus Life

The social interaction between students is very nice. There are many annual events with many clubs who recruit on a regular basis. The library here giant and has over 1000 books with e books as well. The sports too has a different department with many sports facilities on campus.

Admission

I have chosen GGDSD because in my locality no other college offered this course ghat too a full fledged one. I did not apply to any other colleges and got my admission here in the very first go and was quite happy with way the admission process happened It was smooth and even the faculty members helped through it. There is no admission test for this college and eligibility differs from course to course. Mostly 50 percent above can get admission.

Faculty

Till now all the faculty has been very cooperative and friendly. I have not given any exam as of yet so can't tell about that but every subject exam pattern varies from one another. Students have minimum of 6 and maximum of 8 subjects.

First of all my interests. I always wanted to do fashion designing. They prepares us really well it's compulsory for us to do internship in first , second and third years. Well if we talk about improvement then I feel there should be less pressure of practical work in fashion designing field. We have MST before our final semester exam . And we also do class test

GGDSD- a experience that could not be forgotten

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible for placement in their final years mostly. Many companies visit which are either related to your current course mostly , some of the companies are also related to sales field. Getting a placement depends on your skills and experiences. Average package is about 450000.

Call it provides with ample amount of placement and internship opportunities for example in B Voc courses college provide with year-end internship opportunities for students the placement percentage for pass out is around 30%.

One of the best college under panjab university in the tricty

Placement Experience:

Although companies do come to our college. The placement rates are almost nil. So I think one should keep that in mind while joining any course in the college. But if one choose right course and the one which interests the person then you can look forward to geta job in the market as you will definitely learn ample amount of things in the college to get you a job once you get out in the real world.

Placement Experience:

As per placements are concerned the records are not too good but the number of companies that are visiting college is increasing every year, Like icici bank and Deloitte. The maximum package offered to the freshers is 4-5lacs and these are pretty well suited as per cost to study. Many students go for higher studies and many go for government exams. I am also planning to do mba after my college ends.

Positive are the teaching cleanliness and events and other faculty department and negative can be the more events and more involvement of students and more events and parking should be there with no fees.

Elgibility was easy as people for any background rather say commerce , arts , non medical or medical . College doesnt have any entrance exam for admission.Students are admitted through centralized admission under DHE chandigarh. The eligibility for admission depends on various factors and varies from course to course. HONEST REVIEW BY OF GGDSD COLLEGE, CHANDIGARH BY A STUDENT

Eligibiltity of my course was just on my 12th class's board percentage. You can find the application form, application fees and application dates on the official website of GGDSD COLLEGE, CHANDIGARH There are reservered seats for specific castes although i am from general category so i did not get any type of reservation. The exams are held every 5 to 6 months after the semester end. And they are held from 9:30am to 12:30pm and 2 pm to 5pm.
