Remarks

The admission process was quite easy i didn't visted collge everything was online . for bvoc retail management any stude from any student with 70% or above in class 12 is eligible it is a great course . Although this year was online still the input from teachers was great. The college also provides with internship opportunities in bvoc courses at end of each year

Course Curriculum Overview

The subjects for this course were quite interesting like retail merchandising, retail store management, communication skills, business ethics, visual merchandising. These courses helped a lot to develop new skills relevant to field, exams were also bot that difficult if student understand the concepts

Class Size: 40Course Fees: INR 24000 per year

Internships Opportunities

Don't know about the other courses but with bvoc courses, the college provides internship for all students, The internship opportunity I got was for the assistant store manager at pantaloons for a month, it was a good experience

Call it provides with ample amount of placement and internship opportunities for example in B Voc courses college provide with year-end internship opportunities for students the placement percentage for pass out is around 30%.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee is around 24000rs for one year other fees like the examination fee is around 2500 per annum. scholarships are also available but you need to talk to a college assistant for that

The campus is quite "get good greenery around the campus there is a canteen and a few shops like a coffee shop and other para shops call Jass well-built auditorium the classes are well-maintained but quite a few classes like most classes on call all the buildings

Students are eligible for placement in their final years mostly. Many companies visit which are either related to your current course mostly , some of the companies are also related to sales field. Getting a placement depends on your skills and experiences. Average package is about 450000.

Placement Experience:

Although companies do come to our college. The placement rates are almost nil. So I think one should keep that in mind while joining any course in the college. But if one choose right course and the one which interests the person then you can look forward to geta job in the market as you will definitely learn ample amount of things in the college to get you a job once you get out in the real world.

Placement Experience:

As per placements are concerned the records are not too good but the number of companies that are visiting college is increasing every year, Like icici bank and Deloitte. The maximum package offered to the freshers is 4-5lacs and these are pretty well suited as per cost to study. Many students go for higher studies and many go for government exams. I am also planning to do mba after my college ends.

HONEST REVIEW BY OF GGDSD COLLEGE, CHANDIGARH BY A STUDENT

Eligibiltity of my course was just on my 12th class's board percentage. You can find the application form, application fees and application dates on the official website of GGDSD COLLEGE, CHANDIGARH There are reservered seats for specific castes although i am from general category so i did not get any type of reservation. The exams are held every 5 to 6 months after the semester end. And they are held from 9:30am to 12:30pm and 2 pm to 5pm.
