Campus is so good of my college there are different buildings for different courses.
Faculty of my college is well known so they teach very effectively.
Location of my college is very nice .it is in sector 10.

Dislikes

There is a problem related to our college playing ground.
Canteen charges are so expensive compare to main University canteen charges
Annual hostel fees is so much ,so there are less students who take hostel

Course Curriculum Overview

I have internet in political science, that's why I chose this course.in our there are so many professors.there is a good ration between faculty and students.Faculty of our college are well known in our city.they have a good education baground.there are two mis semester exams and two end sem exams happened in a year.Exams have a good level of difficult.We have to study to pass those exams.

Internships Opportunities

There are opportunity for internshipBut in my course there are less options for internship.The stipend for my course is also less because of the work we have to do in our internship.Projects related to literature history ect. Comes under my course.

There are a possibility of campus placement but in my course there are less pay.So we have to do masters or preparation for government exams after graduation.AFTER Completing bachelor of arts we are eligible for so many exams.sl majority students do that.

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees in college of Chandigarh are same in structure.we got a scholarship by our state but students must come under a certain criteria that there annual income is less than 1lakh.besides of other colleges in Chandigarh we have to give full year fee in one time.

Campus Life

Campus Life of our college is good. There are so many different types of clubs and societies. Every one can easily find there intrest club.Social life in our college is also good because we interact with so many students from various regions of country.

Admission

You have to fill the form in college website.after then college release the list of selected students.Multiple lists are come in different rounds . Yes there is a reservation benifits.this type of process of admission is also best.no suggestion for improvement.

Placement Experience:

Obviously the placements are offered in the final year but due to the NEP 2020. Various interships are provided to the students of even first year ones. Companies like Airtel, Amazon India, BYJU's, HCL, IBM, Infosys, Wipro, etc have offered placements to the students in their companies. The average package students can expect is around 2-3 lakhs per annum and the highest package would be around 10-15 lakhs. The percentage of students getting placements varies from 5-7% only.

The curriculum is designed in a very organised manner so that the students can get knowlege from everywhere. The syllabus and study material are very crisp and to the point. But yes the university should give alittke bit more time for the preparation of the MST as they take place in consecutively 2 months which increases the difficulty level for the students

Course Curriculum Overview:

As of i know the ggdsd college of chandigarh is considered the best college in chandigarh, and their psychology program is really good and that's why i choose it. The curriculum prepares us in many ways, they organize different types of activities and they even tell us about interships and how to grab them. I don't think that the curriculum needs any type of improvement, it is quite good. I don't have any problem with the frequency and the timing of the exams and their difficulty is also on medium-hard level.

THE LIFE AT DAV COLLEGE

As DAV is ranked one of the best instituions in north region for Bcom degree.
