If someone is looking for a good college for Arts..this is a good choice.. English and psychology department is great. The teachers are just amazing in all the departments. It's like a family.

At MCMDAV, i didn't have to clear any entrance exam. It is purely merit based. I opted for this college based on my research about the best suited college for Psychology. And today i can say that my decision was right :)

According to my course, psychology. I received a good amount if exposure and encouragement in attending various conferences and workshops. In other art fields also this college strives to provide each and every facility that a particular course requires.

No, it doesn't provide internships. But other times, Teachers keep guidinf students to explore their options outside campus.. There are different workshops which take place during college days for students to widen their horizons

We have an annual job fest in which various companiea from different cities come and select students from various departments. Bussines companies and workshops and offering internships. For eg. IPAT Other small ventures also become part of this event which take students for training programs and experience building opportunities

College keep having innumerable event organised by various departments whole year For eg Reiki workshop by Grand Master Poonam Sharma EFT workshop by HOD Gmch-16 Hospital Philosophy fest YOUTH FESTIVAL MERAKI cultural fest (big event our college hosts every year ) EVERLIT (literature best which includes famous speaker from india all over) Science fest Observation of various subject days Business workshops Career counselling seminars Alumni speakers

Fee structure is simple and affordable BA- approx 15000 which is annually paid and includes 2 semesters. Including the admission and the tuition fee. Plus, we pay the examination fee later in the year. BCOm- approz 22000 Annually which includes admission. And the examination fee is again paid later. As per the Punjab University guidelines

There are certain admission criterias as per constitution. Like quota and consideration to special needs. I am not aware of any scholarship programmes in the college

MCM is always full of colors and festivals. Being a pubjabi state it is always hosting some or the other events like youth fest, music workshops, Since, it's an all girls college so there is no gender discrimination. And every student is given an equal status irrespective of their caste, class or religion.

Hostel facilities is fairly good. Though it is based on merit. The seats in the room. The room is shared by 3 students(girls) The rooms are spacious and clean. The wardens are cooperative and helpful. The food cooked is always fresh and checked quality. The students are provided with full fledged meal including salad, sweet dish and milk in the morning.

We have always had a great learning experience from our seniors. A healthy atmosphere prevails in the campus being a very close knit campus.

We have a fairly organised system in all the departments where students are made to study and relax during their working hours. It doesn't have a very restricted sytem of lab and practical works. Students get free lecture and they are allowed to freshen up and chill in the CELEBRATION GROUND (CG)

My Admission was on the basis of my merit in +2. We are supposed to collect a prospectus form from college office and if someone lives in a different state/city you can call at the office and request for the same and they will courier it to you. For BA, you have on the spot admission process. With all the important documents in hand. Also the details are mentioned in the prospectus form itself. For any other query you can always call the office in the respective time slots.

Within the whole chandigarh, it is tough to compare MCM's faculty with any others when it comes to BA. This is undoubtedly the best college for arts. Teachers are more than cooperative and helpful in giving proper guidance and support to each and every child.
