For a programme, most of the fundamental course help us build our foundations for applications in real life. It builds us, the knowledge we are required to have for solving issues related to this field. There are some department electives which we can choose as well as open electives which we can choose during the course of our programme, for us. That will be a total of 8 semesters. For doing best during the programme, I suggest, a student to do their best during the first 3 exams, since those exams are scoring but scoring in endsem becomes comparatively difficult due to extreme rigorous checking.

Placements are not really good in our college, it is more of a research institute so it mainly focuses on PhD as PhD strength is good. Higher education is more prefered here but placement scenario is also good

Students typically become eligible for campus placement in their final year of the study. The university placement cell invited companies to conduct campus recruitment drives for final year students .

The course curriculum is very relevant and is different for different branches according to their needs. I was interested in civil engineering and chose the course and find the curriculum intersting and relevant for me . The curriculum offers subject which are important for real world applications, like in civil engineering it's offers subjects like building construction, solid mechanics, fluid mechanics, material testing, serving, etc. The course curriculum is very good but the teaching methods needs improvement like more digitalization . The exams frequency and timings are neither too late nor too early, they are perfectly planned and executed.

From 5 th sem students bacome eligible for campus placement. Tech mahindra, intel, Siemens visited for placement. After getting degree i did a job in it company and now 7 years running and I am still doing

The placement of this university is not upto the mark. The highest package recieved by a student was 37 LPA. He was an ECE student. The average LPA is around 6-7 LPA. I think it's a bit low compared to NITs/IITs. But compared to other central and state universities its quite good.

I choose MBBT which stands for molecular biology and biotechnology, the labs are good, they have almost all the things. There are 4 exam in one semester, 1st sessional, mid term, 2nd sessional and end term

As the course that I am pursuing here is "MCA". This course was first introduced in Tezpur university in around 1994 . This was the first university in Assam to introduced this course with respect to that and as well as many people suggested me to get enrolled here if I get a chance...as this university is very well know in our state and I didn't wanted to go outside of state for my masters... Many of the offered courses are related to real-world based scnerios and provides a good knowledge about how things works outside. Nothing much is needed to improve as many highly educated teachers and professors are present here...but the way of teaching of some profs should be changed as no one is able to understand what some professors speaks or tries to make my understand things. The way they teach is not appropriate as we are not able to understand the concept behind... The frequency and timing of the exam is all good as the exams are divided into fours parts so students have to study for the exams as because without studying no one can pass from here...as the exam sitting arrangements are very strict and observes everything...

As i am good at coding and computer related works so i decided to take this Course and i have also dream to work in IT sector companies like Amazon, Microsoft, infosys, Tcs etc. But here exams are taken very frequently so we didn't get much time to prepare for other activities

My decision ti choose the course because i need to explore niryb easr so I'll come assam and i will become a journalist so choose this course. Many things need to improvement for few teachers teaching methods is very bad so they need to improve. Exam level is tough but i need to gap between exam paper.
