I like my campus very much, the people there are very helpful and friendly. Everyone around us are always ready with a helping hand to guide us
Negative aspects i'd say it's the food in the messes of the hostel

Course Curriculum Overview

The course is very relatable to daily life since food is something that needs to be consumed every single day therefore the different subjects in this relates one to daily to daily life and helps develop a better option

Class Size: 20Course Fees: INR 24500 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

Our fees are taken semester wise for Masters in Food engineering and technology. Semester wise a fees of 25000 is collected with extra 6000 for hostel and 2000 mess fees. The fees keeps on decreasing every semester. The fees category is the same for all the students except for the international students who pay around 90000 semester wise. Scholarships like Post graduation scholarship is accepted which is offered by National Scholarship Portal.

Campus Life

There are many fests that place in this university, one the biggest fests that take place is the TechXetra. Along with that a general freshers is conducted for all the fresher students of the university newly admitted

Admission

I choose this college because in North East this Tezpur University is one of the best University that provides the best exposure to the subject Food engineering and technology. Therefore being an Agricultural engineering student I felt that doing masters in this particular course would be very beneficial for me

Faculty

The faculty members are very helpful, they are always ready to help you with anything and everything. The exam system is conducted in three parts, session, mid semester and end term. A total aggregate of 100 is considered

Night Life

The campus night life is very much beautiful especially during the winters. With a cold breeze and light drizzle of rain the campus is always set to welcome the new seasons. Not just the winters in fact all the different weathers are the best to experience

For Placement purpose you must get more than 7.5 CGPA to sit in the placement there are lot of companies which often offers jobs from TCS, Infosyss, etc but you may not get placement in your core subject Average package offered is around 4.5 LPA.

A beautiful college

Placement Experience:

Placements are decent in my branch. But in recent times there is a dip in coming companies.Average package of my branch is 8 lpa and highest goes around 21 lpa. Almost 80 percent students get placed and others choose phd. My plan is to get a good package job.

I had qualified GATE entrance in 2016 and score 398. Gauhati University is the oldest and best university in the entire north-east. Gauhati University has more than 30 departments and known for its quality education. It is located in the capital city of Assam and have a very beautiful campus. Tezpur University review

I applied for different nits but couldn't get any because my jee mains percentile was little low , i applied for GFTIs like Assam University and Tezpur University, I got seat in both of them but I chose Tezpur University because it was far more better then Assam University both in terms of academics and infrastructure. My college admits students on the basis of exams like JEE Mains , TUEE , CUET , etc. For the engineering course the students are admitted on the basis of JEE Mains and TUEE scores and the cutoff is not fixed, it changes every year . A look at TU for MBA program

TU is a central government university and the ambience is majestic out here. I personally like the university very much as it creates such a bond, you would have memories forever.
