IIT Guwahati is known for its picturesque beauty with lakes , hills and green space providing sceneric environment.
Institute boasts modern infrastructure including well equipped labs, advanced research facilities.
hostels are well maintain with good facilities providing wifi facility, good cleanliness environment.

Dislikes

the heavy course load can sometimes be overwelming leading to stress and burnout.
Increased opportunities for internship and hanod on experience in the industry.

The course curriculum is well structured and highly relevant providing comprehensive of key topics.The curriculum effectively prepares for real worls application and further academics opportunities to gain some knowledge.

in my college there are a lot of comapnues are came for giving opportunities for internship and also they provide pre placemnet offer for those student who are selected for the internship based on their performance.

the overall ecxperience was amazing you can get a lot of opportunity for enhance your knowledge via joining groups, club and various social activites. in my csmpus there is a lot of events was held in which many student get the chances to learn how to do management.

Admission

the admission process is very easy it will select the student based on the merit as the cutoff will be done. for mtech they will select the student based on the gate exam wheras for btech the select the student base on the jee mains exam.

Faculty

the effectiveness and qualification of faculty members significantly increases the learning experience at our institution. With a favourable faculty to student ration od 1:12 student easily take the guidance of the faculty member.

A beautiful college

Placement Experience:

Placements are decent in my branch. But in recent times there is a dip in coming companies.Average package of my branch is 8 lpa and highest goes around 21 lpa. Almost 80 percent students get placed and others choose phd. My plan is to get a good package job.

I have applied for DTU & IIITD where I got Software Engineering Branch through the JEE Mains Scores. But since I was sure to join old IIT. I was not sure much about branches so, I just filled all the core and circuital branches of all Old IITs. I wasn't able get other top IITs as my rank in JEE Advanced was not that level.
