I applied for different nits but couldn't get any because my jee mains percentile was little low , i applied for GFTIs like Assam University and Tezpur University, I got seat in both of them but I chose Tezpur University because it was far more better then Assam University both in terms of academics and infrastructure. My college admits students on the basis of exams like JEE Mains , TUEE , CUET , etc. For the engineering course the students are admitted on the basis of JEE Mains and TUEE scores and the cutoff is not fixed, it changes every year . TU is a central government university and the ambience is majestic out here. I personally like the university very much as it creates such a bond, you would have memories forever. I gave MAT exam before filling the application form. The fee is around 1000 rupees. The university is ranked 46 by NIRF in 2021 so to get a degree from here is always a plus in life.
