- Tezpur university focuses on interdisciplinary studies and research driven education. It has modern infrustructure, well equipped labs and a dedicated faculty.
- The university campus itself is a pleasant and picturesque. Itis full beautiful trees and it's guaranteed to be one of cleanest places you would ever visit in your life.
Dislikes
- There is nothing to dislike about this University.
Internships Opportunities:
there was good intenship opportunities. We don't need to go outside to do internship because there was good environment to intenship inside tge campus by taking our faculties as project guide. They guide us very well

- The most remarkable thing about the univers, the structural designs of buildings , it's quite good.ity is it's beautiful and serene campus. The lightings , the NIRBILI ,
- The sports culture is one of the best I have ever seen. Various courts including the basketball court, volleyball court, long tennis, badminton court, cricket and football grounds are well maintained . The students too are enthusiastic.
- Lastly , the faculties and staff are very friendly and ready to help and support us.
Dislikes
- The curriculum is too hectic and we get less time for study , plus the faculties are a bit strict.
- The placement is not that good. Has a low average LPA
Internships Opportunities:
Various projects are done in this university.
I quite don't have the knowledge about the internsips since I am freshly admitted.
For the placements the TCS , Oil India limited, pepsi , Flipkart etc offers various jobs

- I like the campus of our university, whenever we feel depressed, the campus gives us the power.
- The hod of our department MBBT is soo student friendly
- College provide sports opportunity to the students.
Dislikes
- The teachers are so soo good, some of are really don't know how to teach.
- University don't give us time to prepare for exam
- Everything is paid, we don't have soo much money
Internships Opportunities:
There are alot of internship opportunities but as i am in 1st semester so i don't know as much. But i have seen my senior doing internship, it is compulsory from doing an internship from 3rd semester.

placement of our college is not so good very low placement were thier and also pretty
low students get. campus placement maximum students have to go higer study or off campus so i don't want to say wrong

- Campus is very good , filled many natural beauty
- Infrastructure is also good with neat and clean environment
- The weather here in Assam tezpur is also good compare to North India but in summer due to humidity too much sweat comes
Dislikes
- Very hectic schedule, we will not get proper time for other activities as there are classes from 9 am to 5:30 pm
- The placement and internship here is also bad
- There is language barrier too for the non Assamese students
Placement Experience:
placement is not good here for cse students you have to go for off campus placement , this year 2024 the highest package for cse was 12 lpa and maximum recruitment was from tcs which is mass hiring at low packages

- The university provides us with various clubs we can join and it is very much active during fests and competitions and everything.
- There's University buses going throught the town every now and then which saves us a lot of money actually.
- Professors give us personal attention and are always there to support our ideas. Also, regarding future education, the university supports us and even the HOD helps us regarding entrances and gate and stuffs.
Dislikes
- Placement is not very good. It is decent. But we are sure there will be lots of improvement.
- Hostel food is not very good everywhere. But there are cafes and restaurants just outside the campus and in the campus but it depends a lot of money.
Internships Opportunities:
I'm not very aware of that but there are very good internship opportunities for everyone. Just maintain your cgpa and that's it you'll land in a decent kind of internship. Many people got internship at Google and Microsoft

- The campus life and social life here in this university is amazing …you will get exposure to a lot of things
- The faculties and teaching staff are highly qualified and supportive. They are of very friendly nature and will prove mentorship to you at all step
- The infrastructure is really good. We have well equipped labs and classrooms.
Dislikes
- The placement scenario is not much impressive over here…number of companies visiting here are quite less as compared to other colleges.

Internships Opportunities:
Companies that provides internship with stipend include ITC and Nestle as QA and QC trainee. And there are also other companies like SRD groups , Varun Bevarages, Dabur, Purabi they also provide internships but they don't give stipend to the students

- The campus is very beautiful especially in winter. You will love roaming around the campus with your friends.
- Academic pressure is lesser than other NITs or IITs obviously. You will get enough free time to Sharpe your skills.
- Most professors are good, they teach very well.
Dislikes
- Some professors are very bad, they don't know how to teach and just care about your attendance.
- Placements are not up to the mark, most students do not get a well paid job.
- In first year you will face difficulties staying in any hostel (For boys)

Placement Experience:
From the seventh semester students become eligible for placements. Some students get placed with some decent package but most of them do not get any placement or get very low package like 3 lpa. I am thinking about doing mtech from a good university to get a job at least.

- The Campus life was good with grenery surrounding you that makes feels great
- The Sports facility was good allowing you to play each and every game
- The departments, hostels and the mess food was good
Dislikes
- Certain areas in the campus that was overcrowded over time to time
- The Hostel was good but single room should be made available
- The restaurant nearby the campus were not so decent
Placement Experience:
Students becomes eligible from 7th sem onwards for campus placement and many of our friends got placed in the ending of 6 th sem onwards
Many companies have visited our campus and few of them are L&T, IOCL, NRL etc
Iocl provided the highest ctc that was around 20l and followed by nrl
Around 75 percent students get placed every year

- Lecture hall is built very good and had many classroom. Classroom are very big and had AC, projector
Dislikes
- Very hot temperature in the college ac is also not available in classrooms
Internships Opportunities:
I know only for mechanical engineering that company that offers internship is NRL, OIL, IOCL, Railways, ITC (paid internship), and many more that you will get but you have to try to get all the internship.
