How is Tezpur University for B Tech CSE?

I have friends from both Tezpur University and SLIET Sangrur. Based on the conversations I had with them, I will say for CSE TU is far better. The CSE department of Tezpur University has a great faculty base. It is definitely better than SLIET. The university focuses on practical approaches rather than theoretical knowledge. Apart from this, it provides an amazing opportunity for students to work with the Government of India-funded projects. The placements at TU are any day better than SLIET. According to the recent placement highlights the average CTC offered was between 3.5 LPA-10 LPA. So, TU is better than SLIET in all respects. It is in fact the best option to do CSE after IIT-G.

hectic schedule and Low placment

Very hectic schedule, we will not get proper time for other activities as there are classes from 9 am to 5:30 pm

The tution fees for CSE students from OBC category is 26000 per semester with 3000 per semester for hostel fees and mess charge is 2500 separately there is no in particular scholarship but you can apply for NSP for scholarship on merit based

Exploring Tezpur University

The course fee of this University is legit good, affordable for anyone to complete the education within reach.The fee is paid semester wise(6 months)as 27998+hostel fees+tuition fee etc.The transportation fee and the caution money is paid at the time of admission and the caution money (here it's 2000)is refunded back after completing the whole course.

TeZU Review

Exams are hell almost every other month so we do not get any time to prepare
The university has too many classes so the students cannot find interest in other activities

He had the feet is compatibly pretty cheap I would say the tuition fee does not increase as much as it increases in other universities. The complete cost of education including tuition service and other hostel can almost take up to 4 lakh rupees which is pretty less. Scholarship available are Ishanuday etc

There is swimming pool but they charges for it
The class hours are very long like I have my class from 9 am to 5:30pm

The fee is very less , like tution fee per sem with hostel is approx 27k and mess fees is hostel depending like in my hostel this is 2.5k overall in 4 years 2.25 lakh is your sem fees and within 4 lakh everything with your pocket money and transportation,all the things are done

The routine is a bit hectic with daily classes

The tution fees per sem is 30k and extra 7 k for hostel accommodation. Their are various types of scholarships available for the students.The complete cost of btech without scholarships for a general student is roughly 3-3.5 lakhs

The fee structure for btech is quite affordable , Around 54000 for a btech degree is quite affordable and normal and with the facilities provided , it is good. Hostel fees is 4000 which is included in your semester fee. Mess fee for a month is max 2500. Scholarship for outsiders are not there , but if you belong from the same state , then you have many chances of getting a scholarship.

Placement is average and academic is quite hectic
Too many exams per semesters .There is no industrial exposer

Our tution fees is fixed throughout the course. Every semester we give 27000 rupees as tution fees in which hostel fees is also included. Total cost is around 222000 in which is you are a hosteler 2500 per month mess fees. There are some government scholarship available for students.
