Tezpur University Courses & Fees 2026

For pursuing BTech in Food Engineering and Technology, A student has to pay an amount of ?28143/- PER SEMESTER which is ?1200 more than the rest of the BTech programmes. This ?1200 is for the maintenance and management of the labs required. A student in the sense, if he/she is general and stays in hostel. The amount I have stated includes all of those facilities. There is one more thing to consider, the mess fee which is charged every month for the running of mess. It ranges from 1800-2600 per month in different hostels. Also, if there is reservations quota, students can get the semester fee less, as there hostel fee gets deduced and such similar fees. Some economically weak students also get scholarships which they are to apply before the start of the semester.

The semester wise fees is 27143 for where hostel is included. Only mess fees has to be paid every month. All types of scholarships are provided and approved according to the scholarship requirements there.

Every semester I pay an amount of ?23168 and if we consider it as yearly then I pay ?23168 the amount of payment is same for ST and SC category. While on the other hand the general and OBC pays an amount of ?23843 per semester

The fees is Rs.27143 and it remains constant through the 4 years of the degree. The fees structure is not properly provided, it's directly given as Rs.27143. The fees for all my batchmates is same , there is no relaxation for any category. For scholarship (category wise) , the students need to top with a great CGPA in his or her category.

Semister wise we need to pay approx 18000 but at the time of admission we need to pay approx 25000.I includes convocation, icard , training placement etc which we need to pay only once at the time of admission and it also includes caution deposit, hostel caution deposit which are refundable.

The Tezpur university accepts the semester wise payment. Per semester we need to pay a sum of 27000 (excluding the hostel fee) . This includes the registration fee, admission fee ,lab fee, exam fee, etc.For the SC/ST category the hostel fee is reduced by 1000 rs. Plus the Food and Technology branch have an extra admissionfee of 1000 rs .

At the time of admission, I paid around 25000, now in 2nd semester admission I have to pay 16000, it includes the hostel fees but we have to pay 2000 per month as a mess fees in hostel. I didn't get any scholarship till now, our batchmate also pay the amount of fees in the university. Yes, as a central University, it is some expensive. College campus is good, but not all professers are good.

The fees structure is fine...not so high for 6months they take18-20k including hostel charges....but we have to pay the mess fees every month around 2500-2600 ....As one of my friend is enrolled in MBA..There fee structure is higher then ours...50-70k....As I have applied a scholarship in NSP last year but i didn't received any scholarship...as I am OBC(ncl) category but I didn't received ...rest everything is fine...

Course and hostel fee is approximately 17000 for every semester for ST category for general it is 19000. I applied for NSP but i didn't get the scholarship although i have 8.02 cgpa in my last graduation.

So the year wise fee i paid or paying the fee amount 20000? tuition fee, caution fee, registration fee, development fee, lab fee and other compulsory charge includes. My Batchmates fee same. No i don't found any amount of scholarship.
