- Courses and faculty - course are interesting and faculty is very enthusiastic and have great knowledge and have helping nature polite
- Scholarships like merit-cum-means and institute free studentship are available based on merit and financial need.
- Iit guwahati is renowned not only for its academic excellence but also for the picturesque beauty for its campus, making it one the most aesthetically pleasing educational instituitions in india.
Dislikes
- Gate was entrance exam for this course.i found the application form and details in iitg website only.reservation is available but i am not eligible for that .exams are so difficult .it is so much difficult
- Hostel mess food is very bad, and very less food outlets
- The heavy workload, with assignments, projects, and exams, stress students. balancing studies with extracurriculars and personal life is be tough.

Course Curriculum Overview:
In IITG course curriculum was good .every 3 months we have a sem exams before that 1 midsem is there and after completing the chapter we have quizzes and every week they give assignments. I have suggested to give less assignments

- Campus is very clean and very beautiful and almost zero pollution inside the campus
- Faculties are very helpful in overall aspects,they are highly qualified and very interactive
- Placement data is overall very decent and there are lot of career opportunities inside the campus

- Due to competitive environment, it becomes very toxic
- Placement data has been declining due to recession

My academic course is not very hectic and the syllabus is also very easy. but there are some courses that need to be updated. there are four exams in one semester but it vary with each course. Overall the course structure is very good

FOR 3RD AND 4TH YEAR GUY PLACEMENT IS STARTED . THE PLACEMENT OF IITG IS FANTASTIC THE AVERAGE PACAKGE IS 25LAKH AND IN MY BRANCH AVERAGE PACKAGE IS 18 LAKH AND TOTAL STUDENT PLACED PERCENTAGE IS 83% . THIER ALL TECH COMPAMY COME AND YOU HAVE GOOD OPPOURUNITES TO GRAB YOUR DREAM PACKAGE

- The campus was really beautiful and nice.
- Syllabus was best . Subjects like Quantum Computing was taught there.
- Huge no of professor available so many research opportunities are available for students.
Dislikes
- The schedule they make for classes and semester , it's a pressure cooker system.
Placement Experience:
From 3rd semester and 4semseter you can apply for campus placements.
For msc physics majority Ed tech companies are comes to hire like Allen, resonance, narayana etc .
Almost 95% students placed who applied for placements.

- The competition in the college is very much in almost very field whether it is academics or skills like photography and dance. This makes you put more efforts and overall results in self-improvement.
- The campus is very beautiful and also the dream place to live and enjoy your life.
Dislikes
- The environment in the college is such that people troll students of so called lower branches. They make not be really very serious but for a emotionally weak person it is enough to put them down.
Course Curriculum Overview:
The first year have different courses from different discipline other than the one I have opted for. But let me talk about the the course from my department. The professors are the best among all the other courses. The classes are highly interesting and i think bioscience and bioengineering is really a very interesting branch to take if you are interested in higher education.

The course curriculum is well structured and highly relevant providing comprehensive of key topics.The curriculum effectively prepares for real worls application and further academics opportunities to gain some knowledge.

- Beautiful campus with stunning flowers and tress full of nature vibe 😍. College provide us with all facilities like excellent sports, education, highly researchable, having fest to have a fun between our academics.
- Well maintained hostels, have central library as well as hostel library and department library too which full of collection of books, journals and digital resources like computer.
- Iitg have beautiful lakes which is so much soothing and peace place to sit near the lakes.
Dislikes
- Many proffesor are rude. They always demotivate you and make you feel that you e nothing.
Placement Experience:
Nowadays, placement scenario are very bad. Company came but didn't hired or if hired then they fired. Many company visit for internship as well as placement. From 7th semester, campany come for placement. Mostly student should be more than 7+ cgpa but still some camp any came for 6+cgpa.

Placement Experience:
Placements of iit are good always but in recent times reccesion has arrived. I think in 3 years we get PPO and job offers. I don't know much about companies I don't have official placement data but 2.4 CR was the highest 73 per cent placed. I want to do a job

- The placements for M.Sc mathematics and computing students are very good here with good percentage of students placed.
- The course structure of M.sc mathematics and computing is very placement supportive and interesting.
- Campus is so much beautiful and have many beautiful spots . I think it is the best campus in all the IITs . It ha s lkes in it.
Dislikes
- There is only ceiling fans in hostel room so in summers it may be a bit discomfort to you.
- There are a lot of mosquitos during summers so it is the most annoying thing I felt.
- Course structure is very hectic as you have only two years and you have to take care of academic and as well as placement
Placement Experience:
The on campus placement of this course are good with an average package of 13.6 lakhs. There are various roles in which you can get placed that is software development, data science, teaching etc. around 70% of students get placed. Many good companies such as Google Microsoft Amazon etc. comes here for recruitment

- Firstly the campus is very beautiful.full of greenery and cleanliness.
- The academic is very tough if you are not following the proffs.proffs are damn good and they set question papers in that difficulty level where you can't answer those questions if you haven't clearly understood that topic.
- The people here are very generous. Everyone reacts kindly if you want to interact with them.
Dislikes
- The placement scenario in this year 2023 was not very good I will say.
- The food in the mess needs to be improvised ,mainly the lunch.
- The weather is very unpredictable.weather here changes just like lizards changes their colour so fast.
Placement Experience:
After your third year is completed then companies starts vising the campus for recruitment . companies like Google , Microsoft , oracle , Uber and many more visits the campus.the highest package offered this year was around 1.2 crore and the average package was around 25 lakhs.this year around 62 percent students got placed.after getting the degree I will do the job allocated to me during the placement.If you are not getting any on campus placement then you have to apply for off campus.
