25 Aug, 2025 IGDTUW has scheduled the Special Spot Round Counselling for Admissions to B.Tech, B.Tech + MBA (Dual Degree) and B.Arch against vacant seats and against Sports Quota for B.Tech and B.Tech + MBA (Dual Degree) to be held on August 28, 2025. For details, Click Here.
IGDTUW offers programs like B.Tech, B.Arch, and BBA at the UG level. Admission to BTech and BArch is subject to a valid score in JEE Main, followed by the Joint Admission Counselling (JAC). BBA admissions are merit-based. Under the PG domain, programs like M.Tech with 5 specializations, MBA, MCA, and M.Plan. are offered. For admission to the M.Tech. and M.Plan. programs, a valid score in GATE is mandatory.
Admission to MCA is conducted through an entrance test conducted by IGDTUW, while admission to the MBA will be strictly based on the candidate’s performance in CAT, followed by GD and PI. For a Ph.D., IGDTUW conducts the Research Aptitude Test (RAT) followed by an interview. CSIR-NET/UGC-NET/GATE or any other equivalent exam-qualified candidates are exempted from RAT.

IGDTUW B.Tech and B.Arch Eligibility Criteria
- For the B.Tech program, the basic eligibility is 60% marks in 10+2 in the science stream.
- For the B.Arch program, the basic eligibility is 50% marks in 10+2 with Mathematics.
IGDTUW B.Tech. and B.Arch. Selection Criteria
- For the selection procedure, the JEE Main entrance exam is a must for both courses.
- Candidates will also be required to appear for counseling by the Joint Admission Counselling (JAC).
- Those students who got admissions after the counseling round have to confirm their admissions by paying 75,000 in advance by SBI Challan or online.
How to Apply for B.Tech and B.Arch?
- Students have to appear for the JEE Main entrance exam
- After the declaration of results, the college releases the cut-off for the admissions procedure.
- Students have to apply for admission. Later, those students who got their names in the cutoff list can further apply for the counseling process, i.e., JAC.
- There will be 3 rounds of cut-off lists. If any student doesn’t get their name in the 1st round, they apply for other rounds.
