The interviews for the shortlisted candidates are scheduled for Jan 20 & 21, 2025, at the university. Further, the department-wise interview schedule will be notified soon on the official portal, igdtuw.ac.in.
- IGDTUW M.Tech/M.Plan Admission 2025 is open. The last date for submission of the duly filled application form is Jan 20, 2025. The 1st counseling for document verification is scheduled for Jan 27, 2025. To know more, click here.

IGDTUW offers programs like B.Tech, B.Arch, and BBA at UG level. Admission to BTech and BArch is subject to a valid score in JEE Main followed by Joint Admission Counselling (JAC). BBA admissions are merit-based. Under the PG domain, programs like M.Tech with 5 specializations, MBA, MCA, and M.Plan. are offered. For admission to the M.Tech. and M.Plan. programs, a valid score in GATE is mandatory.
Admission to MCA is conducted through an entrance test conducted by IGDTUW while admission to the MBA will be strictly based on the candidate’s performance in CAT followed by GD and PI. For Ph.D, IGDTUW conducts Research Aptitude Test (RAT) followed by an interview. CSIR-NET/ UGC-NET/ GATE or any other equivalent exam qualified candidates are exempted from RAT.

B.Tech course consists of 4 years of graduation with specialization in 7 streams. B.Arch is a 5 year-long graduation course.

IGDTUW B.Tech and B.Arch Eligibility Criteria
- For B.Tech program, the basic eligibility for is 60% marks in 10+2 in the Science group.
- For the B.Arch program, the basic eligibility is 50% marks in 10+2 with Mathematics.
IGDTUW B.Tech. and B.Arch. Selection Criteria
- For the selection procedure, JEE Main entrance exam is must for both courses.
- Candidates will also be required to appear in counseling by Joint Admission Counselling (JAC).
- Those students who got admissions after the counseling round, have to confirm their admissions by paying 75,000 in advance by SBI Challan or Online.
How to Apply for B.Tech and B.Arch?
- Students have to appear for JEE Main entrance exam
- After the declaration of results, college releases the cut off for the admissions procedure.
- Students have to apply for the admissions. Later, those students who got their name in the cut off list can further apply for the counseling process i.e. JAC.
- There will be 3 rounds of cut off list, if any student doesn’t get their names in the 1st round, they apply for other rounds.

The selection of M.Tech programs will be based on the merit secured by the candidates in GATE examination followed by Counseling process.
How to Apply for M.Tech?
- Students have to appear for the GATE Exam and after the results are declared. Students have to apply for their choice of college.
- College will release the cut off list and those students will get their names, they can apply for the CCMT counseling.
- There will be 3 rounds for the admission process.

- all girl college, its good thing you are safe atleast in the campus that too in areas like delhi

- campus size : size of campus is less than 70 acre
- Shared ground with AUD (Ambedkar university of delhi)

NITs (patna , allahabad , bhopal, jamshedpur , jalandhar , etc) and DTU , NSUT so yeah i got admision in almost every college mentioned above even with better branch from this college , but my parents were particular for women's college and fee structure for the certain college like dtu nsut was something i couldnot afford and some personal reasons .
Admission:
Well the main reason i chose this college is because i wanted computer science and with my rank i wouldn't get it in nsut or dtu... So i kind of had no other choice but to take this... Although it hasn't been so bad being in a all girls college
Admission:
I applied for dtu and nsut also but their cutoffs were high as compared to igdtuw . I got admission in igdtuw in the very first round itself of jac delhi counseling. Exam for getting admission in igdtuw is jee main following jac delhi counseling. Cutoffs vary according to category and home state reservation. Overall admission process was decent

- the nearest metro station is very busy all the times

i chose igdtuw for its academic excellence, affordable fees , and women focused tech environment. compared to costlier private colleges, it offers a robust curriculum, experienced faculty and great placements.

I chose this college because of its culture and the aim of women in tech. This aim really inspired me also the placement stats really drawn my attention. The only thing for which would chose other college than this would "campus size".

- The thing I like about i g d t u college is that the operation this for women there are they conduct lots of events hacked on webinar for induction program for women who motivates us and give chance to create a good network with like when it peoples
- The faculty are very flexible and very supportive and the college is good in terms of placement and infrastructure for women in a good college in terms of placement it's average package is approximate 20 lpa
Dislikes
- Infrastructure constraints the campuses smaller compared to the other engineering colleges which may limit some faculties like sports area
- Limited hostel capacity hostel facilities are limited and not all student form outside Delhi may get accommodation the hostel fees is relatively high for the faculties provided according to some students
Admission:
I choose I read it's strong reputation in technical education for women excellent placement record and its Central location in Delhi compared to other colleges apply to igdtuw to stand out in terms of affordability. The admission process is based on JEE mains score through the joint admission counselling Delhi with separate court of Delhi and outside Delhi students

I chose this college first of all due to its placement factor. And also it is very good in marking and all. And you can enjoy a lot here. Also the metro station is also very near to the college. Attendance and all js not as such strict.

- It is a girls college. So to all the parents who are scared about their daughter. It is completely safe.
- Because it is a girls college so the competition amongs classmates is very much. It will keep you motivated

- Girls college...so no hatiyali for you as such.
- Location is also very far off. Like north delhi so it is difficult to go

I got an offer from MAIT ECE... But then in spot round i got igdtuw. Now see igdtuw is a delhi government college which means all the data is in public domain. Now according to 2022 data.....the average package was 14lpa...honestly i could not refrain that.

The admission process is quite simple you have to appear for JEE and get a good enough rank (18000-28000) to get in considering you have above 60% marks in boards. I chose this college because of the placement opportuinities considering it is a all girls technical university many companies visit us for jobs and internships.

- Strong Placement support: companies like microsoft, amazon, adobe, and TCS regularly recruit students. the average package is impressive especially in computer science (₹28 LPA) and the placement cell is proactive in preparing students
Dislikes
- Limited CAmpus life: social and cultural events are fewer compared to other universities, which can make campus life feel monotonous
- Infrastucture Constraints: While sufficient, the campus size is small and lack of expansive grounds limits extracurricular activities

other colleges: - applied to DTU,NSUT and IGDTUW. recieved admission offers from NSUT and IGDTUW. - Chose IGDTUW for its women focused environment, industry aligned curriculum and strong placements(?28 LPA average for CSE) admission process: - eligibility: 10+2 with PCM, JEE Main scores required -cutoff: AIR~20,000-60,000, branch dependent - process: conducted via JAC Delhi counselling, simple and efficient Rejections: missed DTU CSE cutoff narrowly due to tough competition. IGDTUW stood out for its academics, safety and affordability.
