The subjects in this course are really helpful to build a career in commerce. It includes financial accounting, business law and business studies. The curriculum focuses on the basic concepts and conventions in the subject.

There are many companies who hire from the placement cell, JMC. Example - bain, wipro, icici bank, Deloitte. The motive is to allow students to gain experience in the corporate world and contribute to company's organisational goal.

Students are eligible for campus placements from second year. In the first year of their course, they can opt for training sessions. Name of companies - Deloitte, accenture, KPMG, E&Y, Bain, Wipro. (13L p.a.)

Fees for this year = 27,100 for bcom program And fees for bcom Honours is 28,000. The fees paid by an Economics honours student is around 30,000. Scholarships are also provided by Delhi University to encourage lower income family-students.

The annual event "Montage" is held during the month of February. Wide variety of books are available in the library ranging topics from arts to commerce. Campus is well equipped with projectors and monitors. Sports and extracurricular activies are given great importance.

I applied to symbiosis school of economics, however didn't opt for it due to far way location. Moreover, Delhi University is well-known for its strong focus on academics. Admission in the college is through CUET (common university entrance test)

The faculty around is really helpful. They have expertise and knowledge in their field. Department of commerce is extremely active and organises various events. There are two semesters in a year so students have to appear twice for writing the exam.

Locality has nearby markets and DU south campus library. Satya niketan is a famous hangout place for students to rewind and refresh. The locality is safe with the presence of embassies around the college.
